I was there that night in Sydney. What a moment it was simply incredible. This was just prior to the Live aide concert. Freddie was at the height of his powers. God Bless
The little girl at 2:10 is how old I was at the time of the recording. She has the look of being mesmerized and confused at the same time not realizing what a historic event she became part of, she and everyone in the audience in a total trance.

I WAS AT THIS CONCERT! Wow....what a blast from the past! 30 years ago - just a uni student of 20 years old. I remember the concert tickets were about $35.oo a head. We got to see Queen two nights in a row - got tickets for the second show by sheer luck. Never forgotten it.
ps. The date of the Australian concert is incorrect. It was 25 APRIL, not May. I remember it was on the Anzac Day holiday. :)

I got to see all 4 concerts in Sydney on this tour. Bought 12 tickets 3 for each show. also went to The Night At the Opera tour concert at the Hordern Pavillion 1976.
Not a cell phone in sight. Man, I miss those concert days, and Freddie too. 😎

+Claudia Grossi Supposedly John and Brain were going through some major marital problems during the Magic Tour. Also, according to a Reddit post, the band was pretty much broken up in between the Works Tour and Live Aid. When Live Aid happened they sorta got rejuvenated so they decided to do A Kind of Magic. And I guess John silently decided to leave Queen after the tour. But then Freddie got AIDS etc. *Who really knows. In my opinion John was always the most awesome of the entire band because he never wanted to out do anyone. He was just a bass player.*

Es que es increíble que haya dvd de ese del 74 o mismo del de montreal pero no hayan imágenes de este que acudieron más de 150 mil personas
They only recorded pieces of it. We know that Is This the World We Created, Radio Ga Ga, We Are the Champions and God Save the Queen are out there, but there probably isn't much more. Maybe they recorded both the encores and somewhere in a warehouse there is We Will Rock You and Friends Will Be Friends sitting around. Who knows, but I doubt there will be a DVD release. Luckily the soundboard is fully recorded so maybe they could release an album with the surviving professional footage as a bonus.
They filmed both Wembley in full. Didn't put film in most cameras for Knebworth Comments back up by Beach and film director. The only Knebwoth film that exists are the films taken by roadies and News outlets. Anything else out there are recording of the Jumbotron. So disheartening fans never got to see the last show.
I remember watching this video through a bootleg source in 2007. I used to collect as many queen recordings as I could find!

As much as I love Queen and I love this song, this is what I found a titbit disappointing about Rare Live: the combination of serveral version. I'd love to hear both in their own right. [actually, I'd love to see the whole gig released].
There's a CZcams channel called ***** that has bootleg audio of all the '85 Australian concerts if you want to listen. If he doesn't have the audio of a Queen concert on his site, then it probably doesn't exist.

A film of Knebworth was never professionally recorded and There are no tapes of the full show. Some parts of it van be found no the live magic VHS tapes. Audio does exsit and most of the live magic album is from knebworth.

Is it just me, or did DoRo just wanted to make Deacy look bad. Think about it: The only part of the Knebworth performance featured here is footage of the audience, and thus the part showing John throwing his bass. It’s almost feels like they just wanted to show that part.

on the "great pretender" documentary they (queen) said, everybody was exhausted at the end of the magic tour. and I think this was the last concert.
Because they were tired, as eymario said, and John might have been going through bad times. And also as on ''These are the days of our lives'' documentary, it was said that John drinked vodka in between those concerts, so he may also needed to go to the bathroom.
