Be sure that your iPad and LumaBooth Assistant computer are on a wifi network that allows device discovery and that there is no firewall or network security blocking communication between the devices. This is the biggest problem people have when first setting up their LumaBooth Assistant computer.

This is correct. Only devices on the network can communicate. The router I use is a TP-Link AC750. It has the ability to create a local WiFi network and also connect to another wifi network or hotspot to share internet. This is the router I use. amzn.to/3t7020d

I’m using an iPad to MacBook to printer. Everything is hardwired but once I print for a guest I have to unplug the usb in order to print again. I just don’t see myself unplugging every single time. I’m using a Hiti p525L printer

It sounds like something isn't setup properly. You shouldn't have to unplug anything after printing.

@@photoboothinfocomnot sure what it could be. Luma assistant is on and connected on iPad and laptop. The print pops up LumaBooth assistant but falls into queue then I have to unplug usb and resume printing

Do I need a Hotspot? Do I need wifi? Do I need a travel router? Does the travel router need internet?

Having cellular service on the ipad does not really help you with the setup the way I am showing it. Typically I have the router connect to a hotspot or a venue wifi netork that has internet.

What computer are you using to run LumaBooth Assistant (PC or MAC)? Make sure that the network is set as a private network. Make sure your firewall on the computer running lumabooth assistant is turned off.

I always recommend a router. The devices should be on the same wifi network. I'm not sure what your current setup is, so it's hard to comment what issues you are having. Are you in any of the Facebook groups?

My computer is a Windows based machine. LumaBooth Assistant will not run on a Chromebook.
