You guys seriously have the Top Gear perfect storm banter. You guys can all act and improv, but where you guys are perfect is just being together and yourselves. I am so happy you guys found your stride of just being yourselves and stuck with that. Please keep with that. Hollywood has its place, but Doraleous and Associates would make all of the writers quit if it came out as a major movie. Love you guys, keep at it! (And please keep up on all of your projects, not just the easier ones to maintain)
On the one hand, it's absolutely criminal that this pilot could have possibly failed. However, if it hadn't, would we have missed out on Jeep Stuff, Dip Dip Potato Chip, Double Whams, Hit Spacebar Simon, 00FU, Cooter and of course The Wyvern King?

I have trouble believing that no one wanted to pick up Doraleous & Associates. It tells a compelling story, is absolutely hilarious, and has just the right amount of recurring jokes.
These guys are great unscripted. But, sit them down to write for a little bit, and they're bonafide geniuses of comedy.

I think they also forgot that they were working on this game xD ... this is there base work for the game...then they went on holiday, started doing other stuff, forgot to carry on making it ..years later one dude was going though the pc and saw the game and was like aahh ya we were working on this, oh well looks fine lets put it out xD ..that's my guess xD

Fkng brilliant. Had to watch it twice. That "censored" bit was so imaginative and funny. I'm guessing your humor sailed right above those execs y'all showed this to. That "suicide note" bit seemed like how y'all always are together. If you said that bit wasn't scripted, I'd 100% believe it, and it's perfect. I'd definitely have watched this, if it would have been picked up. Also, awww, look at thick... with hair!

The focus group didn't get it. Wrong demographic... It's a shame cause I thought it was pretty funny !
Because it went to CMT instead of Comedy Central honestly, because that was down right funny...
And apparently it was a 3rd of the budget of most similar live action productions. Oh well. That's what happens when CMT's target audience is waaaay different than adult swim's audience.
I think this needs to be a new CZcams series you guys do. Cracking up on all the sketches, Simon's guy in the crowd had me rolling lol.

It'd be nice, but there's no way youtube money would be able to fund it. It pays out only like $7,000 for every 1 million views....and that's non adblocker views, so more like $7,000 per 10 million views at best. If you're talking about paying 4 guys, along with even a small production crew, props, etc. Even writing their own stuff would be a lot of effort and time. So at the end of the day, even if each video got 10 million views and they used a minimal budget, they might be lucky to walk away with $500 a piece, which is just not worth it. Now imagine it's only 250K views. They would be in the negative.
Mark! His character in Half Empty is priceless! As well as a wonderful movie in its own right.
This pilot made me happy and a bit sad for what could have been. But then I remember we wouldn't have all the wonderful years of shenanigans and memories. Love you all.
Its funny actually seeing simon on the edge of a tall building, i could just hear him from every game he plays.
when dora said "whats with all the concern sir?" like simon was REALLY bringing down the vibe of the show, was great. i almost rolled on the floor laughing.

Sketch comedy is much older than Robot Chicken. Check out Mr. Show and Kids in the Hall. (Sketch comedy is older than those, too, but you'll probably appreciate those if you like Hank&Jed)

you know what, if this you guys made this about 20 years ago, the Australian tv networks SBS or ABC would of picked you guys up. i generally enjoyed this, the satan bit i feel like could become its own thing, but also that censor bar bit was awesome, i can say i havent seen anything like it before.

However, the guys are all in their early-mid 40s now except Simon who is said to be 2-3 years older than Neebs & Dora (maybe that's the reason for the joke), Adahop in her mid-end 30s and Anthony is the youngest with early 30s. Found a reddit post from 3 years ago in that Ada gave the approximate answer. Just for people & fans who are curious (like me!). Peace! âșâ

This is clever, minimalistic budget, doesnt rely on childish shock humor or cheap shots, this is classy. I cannot tell how something like this doesnt take off like a rocket yet some of the junk thats around today keeps going

@@sog01 I agree, and had they been given the money and time to truly mold it, this would have been a fantastic show. Whitest Kids U'Know, Upright Citizens Brigade, The State, Kids In The Hall, all had to start with very little money but after a few episodes all got increasingly better. It's why, although these shows need financial backing, the corporate stooges should be allowed to decide what's funny or not.
Honestly, it would work best on CZcams. There are hundreds of comedy shows like this on TV that no one has ever heard of. CZcams would already have their viewers and then new ones to add from that.

That's because woke-ism destroys everything. Networks have adopted a trend where they do focus groups of mostly 40 year old women to gauge a shows viability. If it doesn't pass their muster, it doesn't get the greenlight. That explains why there's soo many crap shows and all the good ones are gone.
