Agreed @anandpreet5765 ! Dr. Ritesh had to believe in himself to get to the point of choosing schools that resonated with him. The process to choose schools and understand its culture actually helps you impress them even more. While most dentists think beggars can't be choosers, they often forget the focus improves your chances
Very inspiring to hear Dr. Ritesh. I have one doubt , How much shadowing experience is generally required , is it University specific ? Also did Dr. Ritesh had any US experience of dental assistantship or any other professional US experience apart from community service .
Hi Parvinder, Our recommendation is to gather at least 300 hours in shadowing experience to be competitive. More the quantity of shadowing, the variety matters. So, if you were to visit 6 different places and spent only 30 hours of each, you'll actually have a really good opportunity to craft an amazing story that's compelling to an admissions committee
