    Good tutorial but 2 questions: I have Studio68c (4-trk). This seems very similar but is there a special tut for 68c? 2. Templates are mentioned but where do we make and save these? (So far I save them as 'songs' as a work-around, but that can't be right!)

    I get a very low input signal from my Rode NT1-A. I have to turn the input volume almost all the way up.(I use the Presonus Studio24C) When I use the same mic on my Steinberg UR22, I don't have to turn the input up to more that halfway, at the most, to get the same or even better input signal. Could there be something wrong with my Studio24C ?

    Please help me ‼️
    I’m having pops on my studio speakers and headphones but not just on my sessions while trying to record, (I can’t even record) because it pauses by itself, I think because of the cracking sounds, but even when i’m not on pro tools, when i’m just playing anything on my laptop a beat,song etc it pops! Btw I’m using a new interface i just brought today (Presonus audiobox 96) i had an issue with latency and the phantom button on my old interface (Presonus audiobox usb) but never had this type of problem that i have now with the new one! My settings are all the same as before, I’ve tried changing settings and everything but it keeps making those weird sound when i play anything! This doesn’t happen with my old interface just with the new one, I don’t know what to do because I don’t think it’s the interface, maybe settings or something on my laptop but I already tried changing everything, buffer size, etc… and nothing! And when I’m trying to record after 5sec the audio is gone!! I even got this message on pro tools session. “Audio processing could not complete due to conflicts with other CPU tasks or a potential clocking issue. If this occurs often, verify your sync cables or try changing the HW Buffer Size setting in the Playback Engine dialog. In most cases, a larger HW buffer size will prevent the problem. (AAE -9093)

    First of all, lovin' the Irish presenter.... good basic set-up, but it skips over the 2 most common things that confuses people, and that's the whole latency settings when setting up and the other thing is the sample settings etc. on the way out. There's not enough information in this video to actually get going in Studio One.

    what am I doing wrong? I have the microphone connected I have the 48 volt turned on and I have it connected to my laptop from the laptop connector USB b Port
    Nothing! no sound will register on the program no sound will come out of my laptop speakers no sound will come out of my external speakers my microphone just absolutely refuses to interface with this and my microphone is also brand new out of the box
    do I need to connect midi's to the laptop? it is that what it is

    NOTICE HE TOTALLY IGNORED the USB96 and its INABILITY TO PLAY STEREO!! WHY do that!?!?! Just say "this one is for stereo, and this one is more for someone using two MONO mics, such as a guitarist looking to record the neck and body, or two singers looking to record simultaneously BUT YOU CANNOT MAKE A STEREO MIX WITHOUT the stupid DAW...
    DAWS cannot play their audio over zoom, without a bunch of extra tricks. So UNDERSTAND THIS IS NOT for people looking to perform on zoom...

  • @ogagako5515
    @ogagako5515 Před 2 lety

    Presonus ur mic is very poor

  • @todosmiros8119
    @todosmiros8119 Před 2 lety +1

    KNOW THE TRUTH!!! USB AUDIOBOX USB96 is MONO! not STEREO! What kind of stupid company would make a MONO Audio device!?!?! IF YOUR AUDIOBOX says "Mic/Inst" this means A GUITAR, not a friggin keyboard... Apparently KEYBOARDS are not instruments. By the look of the jack, it looks like it is saying "XLR/ Quarter inch mono plug"
    WHAT THIS RALY IS, is TWO MIC JACKS, so you can record 2 mics at the same time... Meaning they are ALWAYS mono. If you try to take a keyboard, left right, and place ONE side in 1 imput, and the other side in 2, YOU STILL WILL GET MONO...
    WHO THE HECK NEEDS THAT!?
    SO THE ONLY ONE YOU CAN GET if youre trying to do Zoom as a DJ or performer where you are taming a mixer L/R outputs into the audiobox, is the Studio 24c. THE PROBLEM IS, the morons at guitar center, OR sweet water, WILL NOT TELL YOU that the Usb96 is actually TWO MONO JACKS THAT CAN NEVER BE STEREO... NOR will any paperwork, or online information about the thing!!!

    AudioBox USB96 is the proven noisiest entry audio interface on the branded market. Followed at a distance by Steinberg - as Analysed by a technical CZcams channel. It presents comprehensive data and graphs to support the finding, although all one has to do is listen to it with a range of other audio interfaces and it is clearly discernable to be the worst for noise. My understanding is Presonus have released the 96 on three occasions the last I think as an 25 year edition. The noise has not been fixed in any release and apparently the only difference between the three editions is the colour of the box. It certainly doesn't inspire any confidence in the rest of Presonus audio interfaces or mixers. It really is a shame as it lets down an admirable company with hardware like Atom and Faderpro, perhaps they have become distracted with their new rental program for the DAW.

    • @markgueren9633
      @markgueren9633 Před 3 lety +1

      I have been using the USB96 for about a year now...I’ve had no noise issues at all with it... the ONLY issue I’ve had and I don’t believe it’s due to the interface is the stock plugins are processor heavy but I’ve found way around that..now granted I have 0 experience with other interfaces so I have nothing to compare to... so take that for what it is..
