Hey can you do a video in staedtler brand stationeries???
I thought this episode will about uniball one
@@sofimaharjan1984 Thanks for your suggestion!
I actually started salivating for the edge!!! 😍 Something finer than the “fine” tips.....💕💕
Great idea it is such pens are pleasure to use and best..
I got my JetPens order yesterday and i had ordered a uni jetstream in 0.5 . I was sure i wasn't going to like since i had always been a fun of gel pens. I was so so wrong. The ink is so smooth and very vibrant as well. Definitely not your typical cheap ballpoint pen. the only ballpoint pen i would use.
Which model did you choose?
I discovered the Jetstream RT 1.0 mm about 5 yrs ago and have loved them ever since. I have to write fast at work and these things are like a roadrunner. No skipping, No bleeding. I have had unopened packages for around 3 yrs or more, open them up and off to the races, they never disappoint.
My favorite ballpoint pen lineup! Thanks JetPens! Thank you! 😀
CZcams: "Here's a new Jetpens video for you" *wink*
Me: "Oh well, there goes my money..."
LOL ! So true , Here's to eating Ramen for another 2 weeks!!
.38 standard and the sleek black ones in the same tip size are my favorites! My notes look so beautiful w them! I found them at daiso for $1.50 each but I think they mostly carry the .7 now
4:13 "and is even capped with a flower charm"
Sakura's legal team has entered the chat
Wishing I had the Uni Jetstream when I was in college and grad school....these are awesome!!! My favorite is the 4 & 1 is my favorite. On his departure from my group at my last job, I gifted one of my 4 &1 to an expat who was returning home. He was really surprised and was truly touched. Thanks for being a great source of Japanese and Asian stationery items.
The one I have now is the Uni Jetstream Color Series, in a light blue ink. The color is vibrant despite being a light shade of blue. Absolutely one of my favorite ballpoint pens!❤😊
Uni jetstream pens are awesome. Love them unconditionally.
I have been using these for about a decade now. Always have a few of them with me wherever I go. I didn't know they have this many varieties. Gotta buy more lol.
I love jetstream, use them really often (i also have backup refills 😉) but what's annoying for me is the rubber part would be loose overtime and i keep having to adjust my grip
I like the standard. These write incredibly smooth.
“thick, gloopy ink” no comment
I think he meant to say oil based ink, but you know those Americans.
@@markcaldwell2831😂i live in America but I agree
Ah! I just placed an order and now here we go again 🤣 I've been so excited for the jetstream edge!
@Baby Dino I find that I have less control with the Jetstream edge compared to regular 0.38 Jetstream. I save this pen for writing in tiny tiny grids/lined papers, where it feels the best for me :) This pen is where I learned you need to match your pen tip size to your grid size!
Regular ballpoints: require constant pressure to write, skip lines, have inconsistent color, don't write well on more sophisticated paper.
Uniball Jetstream: no
Regular ballpoints: hey now, Jetstream, you can't have it all-
Uniball Jetstream: shut
My favorite pen out of the Jetstream series is the SX-210 (1.0 tip)....I have been using that pen for over 10 years
Absolutely one of my favorite dream ballpoint pens!😉😄
I got my start with Jetstream with an Edge 0.28. Probably not the greatest introduction - it's so fine-tipped as to give a ton of feedback. I absolutely love how tight I can write with the thing though.
So I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about and ordered an Alphagel. It actually compares to my beloved fountain pens!
Definitely a high favorite. Pairs well with the Alphagel Kuru-Toga pencils (either standard or Switch).
love your stationary 🥺💕✨
I love Jetstream. This pen made me buy more of their lineup more and more...
SX-217 I've used these before and they are excellent. I still carry one in my handbag.
i got 2 4&1 uni jetstream multipens for school awhile ago. wish i had waited a bit longer for the studio ghibli versions. they look adorable!
This is the type of pen I’m waiting for!
My favorite pen of all time is the old school BIC Crystal in black. No skipping, no globbing, smooth, comfortable. 🥰
I'm going to start trying them...great video
I love this video! I AM AN UNI FAN. :)
The most satisfying channel ever
I got mu first uni 0.5 as a present, while on a conference in Japan. I love these pens since then. Currently I use uni jetstream 0,38 bought from Japan.
I been using Jetstream pens since 2003 when I bought my first two pack capped pens at Walmart for 4.99
Ever since then I always return to Jetstream. Always. No matter which new pen comes out. I'm always comparing it to my Jetstreams. Jetstream always wins me back.
Jetstream has been out for that long?
@@ShaunYCheng
Absolutely. Bought them in 2003.
@@Sammydx1 I bought my first Jetstream in 2010, and last one in 2017. Owned only 4 or 5 of them. Too expensive. I prefer Uni black rollerball ink pens. Uni-ball eye.
I can't stand ballpoint pens. I love these Jetstream pens. There's nothing quite like them out there
Have you considered switching to fountain pens? They feel much smoother than just about any ballpoint pen I’ve used.
@Reynold_ Markus many brands make fully waterproof and even bleach and laser proof inks, acid free if course and document safe!
@@finalbossd that is true I own many fountain pens and they are sooo incredibly smooth, the only thing is they are not highlighter friendly..
@@BADGALBABYx3 You should put waterproof or water-resistant ink inside your fountain pen, then the highlighters won't smudge your writing.
Same
The Air is my favourite for fancyness but the Eye is fantastic for quite things though I haven't quite mastered the Air's pressure sensitive nib
My uniball jetstream sx 210 (Indian name for sx 217) is so good i mistook it for a gel pen.
Unlike a gel pen, this doesn't skip nor smudge! Loving it!
This new guy is doing a great job, but I miss Antonia.
She'll be back soon!
I agree, actually, Antonia as been the speech for most of the channel's videos
@@JetPens when she will come back
You might hurt this guy's feelings 😅
Candy M.- Haha. No, he actually has a beautiful voice and truly is great.
I use the Pilot G-tech for school because it has 0.3 tip and slim but has ALOT of ink and u can replace the ink because they sell refills.
I bought the F*Series back in 2017 and it was one of my EDC and I've changed the refills a few times. It broke down in early 2019 and now I can't find them in the store😭 I've been using fountain pen and standard oil-based ink for a while now... I miss using Jetstream ink.
I had one of these in middleschool and I've been chasing that high ever since. They're hard to get here, but fountain pen adoption were the result of the chase...
I have the uniball jetstream 0.7 and even though I agree is perfect to take notes quickly, it does skip lines when I try to underline some words or senteces :(
Ugh where was this when I placed my order last week lol
which of these are able to be refilled side from the multi ones?
I hope you'll do more lineup videos.
I love the 4&1 jetstream pen 🖊😍❤ I know it will always come in handy and I just need to bring the pen and a scale
Love the invention!
nice pens... any refills that might fit paper mate profile ball pen?
I like the design of the f series but love the grip of the alpha gel
The uni Jetstream is MY FAV PEN EVER!!!!
The capped SX217 for me. Push/retractables type pens don't work for me, because I just pocket them and they all mess up my trousers and bags and shirt
Is uni ball air good can you recommend a video for it
I've been writing for over 40 years and I have never heard of getting cramps in your hand because of the type of ink you use in your pen. 😆😆😆😆........that's a good one. You made my day....
Every glop is like hitting a pothole!
Try writing for four hours straight
I actually experienced this for the first time ever recently. Got a new job this last year. During training I had to write the most amount of notes in my life as fast as possible, all day for weeks. And I was surprised that my hand actually got sore after a few days of this.
Perfect!!!
Nice! But I still prefer the feel of fountain pens!
Me too! But nothing beats the practicality of ballpoint pens. Bad paper, carry anywhere, shock proof... Fountain pens are not for all scenarios
@@gargahosoi4393 I guess your right, especially when you are writing an exam and the inks just starts leaking out of everywhere.
@@donttouchmycar4754 Try Gel Pens and rollerballs. They've been my go to whenever I can't use a fountain pen.
I’m gonna save you a lot of time and money experimenting with fountain pens. The best low cost option I’ve found that out performs everything in my fountain pen collection is a pilot metro fine nib with the platinum carbon black ink and a con-20 converter. It writes VERY smooth. The ink has some sort of lubricating property that makes the pen glide on paper easier. It never leaks and gets on your fingers like other inks in the same configuration or like the other pens I have. It feathers less than other inks as well and on very crappy paper it will feather but not much. I still don’t like any feathering at all so to me that’s a downside. It is water proof and it will never fade. It dries quicker than a lot of inks aswell. I think around 5 seconds and it’s pretty much dry. As for uni. They are the best gel pens hands down.. I really like the style fit gel pens in .28mm and the RT-1. I just wish they would not charge so much.
Do these pens bleed or feather with Copic markers? Thank you.
I like the look of the Edge
Uni Jetstream has been the ONLY pen I’ve been using for about 7 years now.
Hi! Can you tell if a refill lasts longer than a gel pen, by this I mean the gel pens usually last for 2seconds or so :P :). I'm looking to get one of these for sketching
InyasArt they in my opinion they do last longer. And the refills are cheap too.
@@berrykage thank you so much! I can't believe I found a jetstream pen in the house literally afte I sent you the question. Now I can really test it! Luuucky
How much should a refill cost? I’m thinking god getting a 4 and 1 pen. Is it cheaper to get them on amazon or JetPens?
Guys what is the best jetstream tip size for me its the 0.7 mm dissent skip or scratch and less smearing
can you please upload or create an updated version of this video: The world's best smoothest extra fine-point pens?
Mind blowing videos
Kudos to everyone in me country to survive on ball point pens 90% of the time.
For some reason I have never heard of a pen that can switch to a pencil 😱
Im buying this soon
I love the color series with my jibun techo
Plz make an video on OMR filling pens...
wow this is a good pen I reallly want it
I like all the pens
My mom gifted me the standard one in white and light blue IT IS SOO GOOD
My Uni jetstream inks always dries up in a months time. Like errrrrrrr. Why?? This never happens to my acroballs. 😢😢😢
When they said shelter in place, I don’t think they meant my money at Jet Pens. Or did they? 🤔
No, politicians supporting something people like, that's unlikely,
Unlesssss it was really reverse psychology,
In which case f politicians and write as many angry notes as you want.
Now the question is, which pen will you use to write them?
Can anyone tell me where i can get that pouch at 3:00 ?
I love pens
Uni all premier i am using uni pens more than 8 years now best pens
My favorite pen is the 4-color one. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to buy it in Poland. I have 3-color pens with 0.7 mm and 1.0 mm tips. The only downside to the cartridges in the pens is that the longer you write, the brighter the cartridge writes. I've already checked this on used and unused pens. I don't know what the reason is. Well, aloe, however, it is one of the best writing pens I have in my arsenal.
What is the pen case at 3:04?
Please do the video about stabilo Highlighters Lineup and Pilot Acroball lineup please, I really really love this writing instrument ❤❤❤
Uniball Signo 151 vs Uniball jetstream? Can't decide.
indeed the best ballpoint
I've been using Uni Jetstream SXR-5 since 2019, but since last year up until now I ALWAYS have Issues with the ink that suddenly dried out just after few days of use. At first I thought I just unfortunate that I got the bad batch, but recently I have bought 5 jetstreams SXR-5 separately, for the past 2 weeks because the ink keep worn out and I decided to bought again and again with hope that I would get a good one. But after 5 times I get my hopes up. I don't know if it's my fault because of the way I wrote (I wrote very often everyday) that makes it a problem or it is the ink. I love this pen A LOT because it makes my handwriting neater, I do like it a lot when it worked very well (if I don't like it, I won't try to bought it 5 times in a row because of this issues) but I keep getting this issues, and because of that I consider find another pen if this keeps happening.
For the record, I DID tried to hot blow dry it but it didn't work.😔 can anyone help me?
Mine too!! I read that someone else had this problem too but they said it was because they didn’t hold it upright when using it. So with my new ink refill, I tried my best to use it properly and holding it upright when writing, but the next day, the ink doesn’t come out anymore. I came here to see if anybody has the solution to this.
I have the same issue with the 0.5mm refills. But no issues with the 0.7 mm refills. That is why I only 0.7 mm now. No issues.
My thrifty Bu3 Grip click pen is as ergonomical on both hands and the ink is better than standard.
The multipens were my favorite
is the ink waterproof?
Wanna buy uniball jetstream 0.28mm where I can buy ?
I want a ball pen with 2 mm nib size
I like all of them equally
I like the 4 & 1 and the SX-217
I love your vids but my purse says nah not today 😂
I used the Uni Jetstream with rubber bodies (2:05) for writing a fantasy novel between 2012 and 2013, though I think they are the retractable versions of the SX-217 above (2:55, similar color). At the time, I regarded them as the smoothest writing instruments I ever owned, and it's a pain to try and use other ballpoint pens.
I think at some point the rubber surface and grip area melted because I live in a country where it's hot all year round 😢
My current go-to ballpoint pens are Pilot Acroball, but nostalgia and this video make me wonder if I should use a Uni Jetstream again.
Have you ever had problems where the ink doesn’t come out even if it’s newly used?
@@imthecoolest50 Definitely had those exact problems some time after 2014. Refills were wasted u_u
@@nadiah.floots did you manage to find out the cause of that? Could it be one of the contributing factors of you switching to Acroball asides from the melted rubber (because you could always get the other pen bodies for Jetstream)? I’m torn because I really like Jetstream ink, but I can’t keep buying new refills just to destroy it in 1 day 🥲 Maybe I could switch to Acroball. Do you think the Acroball ink is as good as Jetstream?
@@imthecoolest50 I never did find out the cause. It's more than the SX-217, it happens with the standard Jetstream 101 as well. Basically every Jetstream ballpoint pen I bought became unusable within the week because of dried ink (which I tried to revive the JetPens way, but the results are never sustained).
Maybe my bookstores carry old stock? I'm not sure, but that's a theory.
With the Pilot Acroball, sometimes the refills turn out dry, but they're much successfully reactivated. Around 60% of my Acroball cartridges get used to the fullest, often without the ink drying. Uni Jetstream ink may be smoother, while Acroball feels closer to writing with a traditional ballpoint pen.
Based on personal experience? The Pilot Acroball got me through eight whole paper-based exams. I could barely write memos with Uni Jetstream pens in that same era.
Is buying a uni jetstream 2&1 multi pen better than buying the 2 uni jetstream pens and the uni jetstream mechanical pencil separately ???
The Uni Jetstream is a ballpoint pen, so there is no Uni Jetstream mechanical pencil. The mechanical pencil component is only included in the multi pen. If you would like to purchase pens individually, you can get a mechanical pencil and add a container of Uni NanoDia Lead: www.jetpens.com/Uni-NanoDia-Lead/ct/3518
All jet stream are the best
i have a quick question ! does the pentel energel 0.5 refill fit into the uni alpha jetstream?
Hi there! It does not fit. You can find all the compatible refills for the Uni Jetstream Alpha Gel Gel Grip Ballpoint here: www.jetpens.com/Uni-Jetstream-Ballpoint-Pen-0.7-mm-Alpha-Gel-Grip-Series-Black-Body/pd/2775/refills
To see what pen bodies are compatible with your refill, you can go to the product page on our site and click "Compatible Products". For example: www.jetpens.com/Pentel-EnerGel-LRN5-Needle-Point-Gel-Pen-Refill-0.5-mm-Black/pd/5345
We hope that helps!
@@JetPens ohh okay beacuse i saw someone using an alpha gel jetsream with a pentel energel 0.5 needle tip ink??
this pen is amazing but do anyone know why mine always stop working after a while? (with a lot of ink)
Try something else, Uniball is only good for rollerballs and gel stuff.
Mine too!! I heard it could be because we’re not holding it truly upright while writing. With my new ink refill, I tried maintaining an upright grip while writing but it still happens. I came here to look for answers but haven’t found any.
The Edge pen was featured but your website still doesn't carry them. What's the deal?
We do carry them! You can find them here: to.jetpens.com/2TVs3Uz
Idk why but my sport version has a strip is blue (my pen’s ink is blue)
Would the Jetstream 4&1 be too thick if I switch from my current Dr.Grip 4+1?
Hi there! The Pilot Dr. Grip 4+1 has a grip that is 12.7 mm wide. The Uni Jetstream 4&1's grip is 13.4 mm wide. The difference is slight but pretty noticeable; if you find that the Dr. Grip is the perfect width for you, you should definitely stick with it!
@@JetPens Thank for such a detailed clarification, yes Dr.Grip 4+1 would probably be the maximum grip diameter in terms of comfortability for me, probably will wait for Jetstream 3&1 which likely to have similar diameter with DrGrip's
Uni Jetstream Edge Ballpoint Pen looks interesting. . .
I liked 4&1
A pencil or a pen D: the choice I didn't know I needed :D
All of them

watching this video while holding my jetsream pen
I got into jetstream right after my favorite ballpoint pen, Avant Silkscribe, discontinued and they no longer have them at Staples. The avant ballpoint pens write so smoothly and the color of the ink is vibrant black color similar to that of gel pen. It's too bad that they no longer have them at Staples. So, I am on a quest to find pens that have similar qualities to my favorite pen. A lot of people recomended jetstream lineup, so, I gave it a try. I bought 0.38, 0.5, 0.7, and 1.0 to see which one I like the best.
Upon my first time writing with the pens, I didn't like them that much because the color is not as black as Avant, and they skipped a lot. The 0.38 is way too scratchy. The 0.5 is scrathy. The 0.7 and 1.0 are ok, but don't glide as smooth as Avant. Since I bought so many of them, I continued using them because I wanted to get my money's worth (they are quite expensive, more expensive than the Avant). Within a month, the color faded really bad even though the ink was still full. I thought they dried out, so I performed multiple tricks: dipping in hot water, writing on a glass surface, tapping and scribbling, using blow dryier and sucking the ink. But nothing worked. So, i tried my last resort by heating the nib to a flame for a few seconds. It worked!!! But didn't last long because the pens kept drying after writing a few sentences. So, I kept heating the nib over and over until it POPPED OUT and the ink EXPLODED onto my desk. my book ruined. my computer stained. my hands stained. Luckily, I have some rubbing alcohol with me to rub off all of the inks.
To be honest, it was a traumatizing experience writing with this ballpoint. I don't understand the hype around this pen. Even some cheap regular ballpoints can write better than this pen, especially without the need of heating the nib over and over again. At first, I don't like it that much but I can tolerate it. Now, I hate it. Sorry, jetstream.
Maybe you can try the Azor blue or black ballpens.
Update:I bought another 1 mm Azor Pinpoint and it still works like a charm. You would have to import it from Central or South America.
I encountered the same problem. I also don't understand the hype around them. I have the multiple pen version, all of them stopped working after a month even tho their barrel is still full.
I've recently heard that over time the jetstream ink starts bleeding through the paper and starts developing a yellow halo or stain around it. Does anyone know if this is true or not?
I have a jet stream sport 0.7mm and that is not true for me.
That’s like after 7 years so nothing to worry about
I’ve never had that happen for any of the jetstreams I’ve owned.
ah i see someone in jetpens also uses notion😁
