It's just taxis banned from flying all flags and the ban was introduced over a decade ago before he unfortunately took power. Though of course, a ban is only as good as its enforcement. It should obviously be scrapped or reworked.

Banning ANY flag on black cabs was introduced in 2012 by then mayor Boris Johnson. This has nothing to do with Sadiq Khan.

I'm a pretty earthy down to earth working class guy and once dated a cambridge doctor, she treated me like a bloody alien, her facial expressions were hilarious because i don't put on airs for anybody, what a strange life these people lead, intelligent? Not at all, simply limited repeaters.
I phoned the doctors the other week. After being on the line for 20 minutes with no answer, I decided to go to the surgery myself. When I got there, there was one patient in the waiting room and the doctor was having a cup of Tea or Coffee with the receptionist. It’s a joke.

I worked for a company that closed for a week in summer...whole factory' ...but it was for cleaning, /repairs....faulty equipment out....a lot of places did it...80s /90s..Still..

I remember the summer of 1976. It snowed on mayday and then it hardly rained till October. We had stand pipes on most streets and we were banned from watering our gardens. It was a brilliant summer. I also remember the winter of 1963 when it snowed on christmas ever night and it was on the ground till easter. Global warming pfffffffffffffft!!!!!!
Oh yes I remember it too, some of the tarmac pavements became so hot that it was like walking on a mattress, everyone just had a good laugh about it all!😄
The worse thing we experienced was being told that my dying husband should go to A&E. He absolutely did not want to queue for Five hours at A&E! He would actually rather die at home.

I was born in the spring of 58. Lived through the freezing winters, summers were clouldy and dull if we had some sun we would be excited. Love the weather when it is hot we just have to be sensible.
