- This EDC Training Drill by Chuck Pressburg of PressCheck Training and Consulting (presscheckconsulting.com/home) is called the No Fail Drill. It is an excellent drill for training your ability to focus on accurate long distance shots while pulling the firearm from concealment.

Great video and drill
You are correct about slowing down for the distance shot . When I started shooting 25 and 50 yard shots I had a terrible time transitioning a short distance trigger slap to a trigger squeeze at longer distance
That is so on point! On paper, the press should be the same, but my experience is that they are in fact, two separate animals. The goal I suppose is to train enough that the two meet. but for me, perfection remains on the periphery. Thanks for viewing and be well.
The Elisjsha Dicken drill of stopping the Greenwood Mall active killer, where he shot 10 rounds at 40 yards, in 15 seconds (someone correct me on those numbers) is really the only drill I'd ever want to match. ...Talk about a modern "every day" type of hero!
My son's fiance was at the Greenwood Mall about an hour or so before that tragic event. Couldn't agree more.......a hero!

Good advice! But personally for EDC, I just like to carry an M249 SAW. I just grip it and rip it at my target. Works everytime! 😂😂
