I think the club should announce it if a decision been made.. players would also have a chance to put on a show for the next manager/coach to show their worth should they wish to stay at the club beyond the summer. The fact we’re openly talking to managers must be a slight indication on the direction we’re going in. 🤷🏼‍♂️⚒️

Class works both ways though ex, when did moyes or his cronies last speak well of West Ham? He belittles our history at every opportunity. I won’t abuse him but at the end of the day, he’s been paid well to do a job, contracts up, off you go. Doesn’t need to be abuse or a fanfare

Well said, surrendering to the prejudiced indeed jaundiced Moyes generated negative pr is a little pathetic, after all it’s totally unreasonable and often based on untruths. Most of these commentators don’t even check their facts before spewing their wrath and in reality we should not play their game, certainly not lowtow to it, indeed that is the whole point of their tactics in trying to undermine us. Stay firm, logical and state facts and reason in reply to their nonsense and self serving lies.

Surely we should be getting this sorted out now before the end of the season The owners are making a mockery of West Ham

Indeed waiting till the end of the season and then sitting down and discussing it is a rediculous but rather typical West Ham response. Had plenty of time to sort this out because the Summer rebuild is almost scarily important to stop next season potentially becoming a struggle. This is the poison pill Moyes is leaving us, a top heavy small, old and slow squad despite £450m spent. The right appointment is vital but to do that you need to know a new appointment Trent has to be made. No excuse for not recognising the urgency of that.

Fear you are right the stats and objective evidence show things are far worse than some like to suggest and were never quite as good as has often been portrayed, esp considering the budget he has had, fact is checking it out overall our squad is weaker now than the one he inherited and added to that first Jan window. They represented almost the only quality signings indeed he was responsible to.

Would he get a free hand to do what he wanted at Liverpool or Munich ? Whereas he could join West Ham & virtually build what he wants , in cahoots with Steidten. A lot would depend on how he gets on with Steidten & how their views line up

Four years is enough for any manager. But where are we really under David Moyes? We are going to end up 10th in the league on a 500 million transfer spend. Very poor, barely par. The squad is in an absolute mess. It's way too old. It's too small. There is absolutely no pace and too many skilless plodders like Soucek. Several of our defenders need wheel chairs to move around. Our main striker is in his mid 30s and barely can last 40 minutes. Our Academy has lots of talent that has never been utilised, indeed the morale in the club is at an all time low. Now we need at least 12 players brought in - plus the half dozen (the Coufals / Creswells / Ogbonnas / Fabianskis that are all going to go. Can you imagine dithering, picky tightwad David Moyes getting those players in and integrating them. It's going to be an absolutely nightmare, even assuming Steidten has overall say. Consequently if Moyes stays, I am truly dreading this Summer. I think it's the equivalent of sado massochism and self flagellation to even think of keeping him in charge.

Announce it now, the positivity of the support will return knowing change is coming regardless. The supporters will want Moyes to go on a high note and get the thanks of the club and supporters over these last few games. As a player, I would be thinking that someone new is coming and also a manager I've worked with for years is leaving...so good reasons to put a shift in between now and the end of the season. Indecision at a time like this will just mean the season drifts on, fizzles out as the players appear to have flip flops on and are blowing the beach ball up. Even just having the 'Goodbye David Moyes' as a focus will help...

To me Moyes is only interested in feathering his own best. We have a small crap squad in the main apart from 4/5 players. The youth set up has been ignored and we get dished up week after week football that’s totally outdated. The same useless subs coming on every week. And we are supposed to honour Moyes, what for a piss pot pub cup, 14th in the Prem last season and 9/10 this. The money that’s has been spent any manager could have achieved what he has done. The sooner he goes the better. I won’t be standing and clapping
