    Brutal but effective. My inner thighs are so stiff and my hips as well. This was perfect. A little hard but I can see with practice I’ll at least be able to get into the positions much better. An ultra beginner splits challenge would be amazing. Thank you for posting this video!

    Hi I am 11 years old. Yesterday I saw my my best friend doing middle split and I was just like “Wow, i want to do that”. So this morning i decided to learn middle split. It was much harder than I expected, but I will not give up til I have learned it. Hope this video will help me learning it.😄👍

    I used to have my middle splits when i was a little kid (i did ballet for 4-5years) but i lost it completely!! Now i'm 18 and doing these. Hope i get my splits back!

    I am really far from getting my middle splits. I am also working on front splits (which I'm closer to achieving than my middle split but it's still somewhere in the far distance). Even though some of these stretches were a challenge for me, this was one of the best routines I've found! Thank you so much!

      Yes, definitely take your time, even if I am going too fast, don't feel the pressure to follow me, if you need time to hold the position still, then please do! Super important to listen to your body! ❤️

      @@Sofabar I had been following alivia for 1 year now so compared to hers, I don't feel that this workout is fast at all! It is calming and relaxing but what if I feel like I'm not pushing myself enough? Should I push harder and end up injuring myself or should I continue to stay at the level where I am(2 inches away from middle splits)? I would love to hear your take!

      @@Sofabar No problem!And you know when figure skaters do the spiral and the camel spin?For that they need to raise their leg backwards or something like that,and i was wondering if there's a stretching routine for that :D

    If I'm only stretching for front splits, will this video also help? Also, will it effect me, if I skip hamstring-stretches for one day and do one of your hip-stretching videos? I'm very close to the ground, but my back leg just won't go down, so I want to focus one day in the week just on my hips.

      @@AllahsServant12 It is better after a good warm up - I do taekwondo so I do some side kick exercises first. I can almost get my chest to the floor and legs 135 degrees. I couldn't do the reach over your head touching toes at the start and I can now!

    thank you so much for your video! 💕 is it wrong if my knees and toes are facing up while doing the middle split? or it's ok and your version is more advanced (that your knees and toes are facing the wall infront of you). ??

      In my own opinion, I don’t think it matters. If your knees and feet naturally stay up as you go into the middle split, great! If they go down, also great. I think it’s depends on how your body is built. I could be wrong, but I see so many other gurus do both ways and never really heard someone say one way is better than the other.

    Can this be my only exercise to do everyday? Will this be enough to be healthy? Been doing this for 3 days now and it feels great!! Although in wayyyyy far from a middle split, I feel like if I keep up with it, I’ll reach one in no time!

    My straddle is weak and my middle split is so far...I'm lucky if its half way...
    Hope the more I do this the better they get. How often do you recommend to do this?

      Depends on you and your body, definitely start off a couple of times a week, then every other day and then every day if you can, but once again listen to your body. If something really hurts, then you need to listen to that and stop! Good luck and keep me updated!! 💕💕💕

      If you're just starting out every 2-3 days, most every other day. Just to give your body time to heal. Then you can do it more often. All in all, listen to your body and yourself.

      Splits can take months, even years, depending on how flexible you were to begin with. Keep at it!

      Unfortunately it is different with everyone, some people will see improvements in a few weeks or months, but some years! Depends on your body. Like myself with my back flexibility, I'm practicing months now and only see a small improvement, but I know it's worth it and when I get to the place I wanna be, I'm gonna be so happy. Just keep at it and don't give up! Also try to do these stretches at night and really make sure your body is warm :) Wish you the best of luck!!

      Start slowly, like 2-3x a week, then every other day and then one day every day. You have to listen to your body and make sure you don't injure yourself or push yourself passed your limits.

      I’m so sorry to hear this! Things like this take time, sometimes more for others. I will do more videos on mobility and strengthening the areas around to help others who might not feel they improve from just stretching 🙏❤️

    No hate to her. the only way I found I could stretch that actually helped is sitting up against a wall and then progressing slowly

      Hey there! Middle splits can take months and even years to achieve, so don't get too discouraged, it's completely normal for it to take longer, so keep at it and don't give up! 💖💖💖💖

      What seems to be the problem there? Are you not able to touch down with your hands to hold the position for example? You can take yoga blocks or books and stack them under your hands if the floor is too far for your to reach 😊 Or if you feel wayyy to tense in this position to even get into it, you can try a different hamstring stretch, like a one legged forward fold or forward fold sitting/standing 😊

      These are stretches beginners can try and will improve their flexibility overall to get middle splits. It's in no way saying beginners must be able to do each position perfect, not at all. I will definitely make more videos that are gentle and easier for middle splits, stay tuned! 💕😊

      This means you went too deep into the positions. As a beginner you need to get into a position where you feel some resistance, but not sharp pain. Listen to your body and allow yourself to be patient with your body! Hope that helps 🥰🙏😁

    I liked the first part until you actually went into a split and started showing exercises from there. Wasn't it supposed to be a beginner level? I can't even spread my legs this wide in a straddle.

      Hi there! Sorry to hear about your frustration😓 but practicing the middle split is an important part of learning the middle split and that’s why I added it in. It’s definitely not suggesting you should have your middle split as wide as mine! That would be insane to expect from a beginner! 😁

    Is it normal that the inner side of my knees always hurt when I stretch out my leg?
    I barely can't do any of these exercises without bending my knees.
    will this get better the more I try or do you think I am doing something wrong? Thank you

      Hi there! I can't really tell without seeing you in person what exactly you are doing, but of course with time all stretches get better! Just have to accept and be patient with yourself, it could take more time than you expect, but have fun with the journey and don't give up! 😊😊😊
