I liked it a lot before the fractures/veins were added. I like fractures/veins, as they make it look more authentic, but to me, there were too many added. But I'm new to this process, so I could be off base. I think you guys do beautiful work, and would LOVE to have your countertops in my new kitchen! That's a whole big story there. Anywho, keep up the awesomeness!
Great feedback
Too many fractures! Love the rest a few fractures would have made everything pop.
I agree 100% with you!
Agree, to many veins. I own my own countertop and tub refinishing business. Over 17 years of experience, to me it just looks over done. Love your videos you guys are awesome. I will be adding this to my business soon.
I totally agree, too many, too wide, and too straight/geometric. It really doesn't look good.
I'm glad everybody had funn but I liked it better before the fracturing. Love the colors and the shine.
Looks BEAUTIFUL! My opinion: I would have not added the cracks. They take away from the overall kick-ass-ness. Too straight, too wide, too many.
We †it, without the fractures. It was just beautiful work.
I wasn't a big fan of the fractures. But that's what makes epoxy so versatile. You can do what YOU want to do! I can't wait to do my own in the near future. Absolutely stunning job in a beautiful hut in a badass jungle!!!
Endless possibilities! Thank you kindly my friend, we can not wait to see what you createđ
That was so much fun. Thank you for letting us be a part of this project. You rock Mike!!!
You did amazing!
The tops look so nice! Great work ATD!!!!!!!!!
Colors are stunning, it would be nice to have a kit for this same recipe!
Great suggestion
At first I thought the veins were way too thick and shouldn't have been added until I looked up rainforest granite and saw that what you did was spot on. You're opening up my creative eye to the possibilities of what's possible should I ever begin working with epoxy. I really enjoy your videos.
That came out, bad ass!
With all those groceries on the vines you never have to leave home, YUM!
you are right on!
I loved the wild colors on this one, it looks so pretty and matches the tree house theme, thanks for the great comment!
This was absolutely gorgeous and the island grounds are amazing with all the beautiful fruit trees. At first I thought it was too much with the fractures/veins, however I googled Rainforest Granite and OMG there are a lot of fractures/veins so it looks like to me you guys nailed this one.
Beautiful. I like the thin painted veins. Be kind to each other. Stay safe. Love to all
That's gorgeous. I love the colors, like bringing the outdoors inside.
I love the veining Artist till death put on it, so natural! ,. Sick awesome colors for the epoxy.
I agree
Same here! Jeff has amazing skills, I don't know if my painted veines would have turned out as pretty!
Like it better without the fractures. Hoping to do something very similar to a monster desk I got from a bank that is remodeling.
Sounds like a cool project đ
I agree with Mike, sounds like an epic project! Let me know if you have any questions
@@mitchquist you want to come to Texas to help? This is a first for me....so either it comes out great, or the wife throws me out for making an epoxy mess.
So glad you all got to get together over there! Bet it was fun for everyone. đđ
After watching this video, Iâve learned that a palette of a billion shades of the same color family plus a few contrasting colors makes an extremely authentic stone look. The mass produced countertop kits at the big box store have maybe 3 colors in one kit. Iâve seen the results at two friendsâ houses. It does NOT look like stone or marble. It looks like paint.
The countertop yâall created in this video looks so vivid, so authentic, and so natural. Adding so many colors to the pour gives so many layers. This is what separates a custom product from a mass produced kit.
I hope to recreate this effect in white, copper, beige, tan, and cream with hints of pink, yellow, and terra-cotta. Iâve known I wanted stone coat brand for a while, but I could not decide on a color.
You and Katherine are living the dreamâŠ!!!!
I just absolutely LOVE this company! You guys really make me feel like pursuing my dreams is possible. Thank you for being so awesome!!
At first I was going to say that I didn't like the fatter veins and there were way too many, but then I looked up rainforest granite...and you all NAILED IT!! Beautifully done!
I really like how you hand painted some of the lines. I'm going to incorporate this into my art pieces. Thank you
Same! I had actually never heard of rainforest granite. Looking it up, I see that you guys have done a spectacular job. And the colors are so great!
I love doing this. I had my family wanting me to do their showers, baths and got them involved. Grown up coloring fun!
Screw the tutorial, this dude lives in paradise!
I keep watching!!!! I love this so much! Itâs just as magical in person!
Did you see the Manta Rays while you were out there?
Excellent prep job
Love the drip gutters, big improvement and it allows the applicator to portray as a polished professional
I liked it so much with the few initial veins, looked a lot like labradorite!!
That being said, "the birds are singing Usher" must be my favourite part of the video lmaoo
I remember watching this live & was so excited to have so many creative people adding to it, the teamwork & support is so cool to see & the end result is AMAZING â€â€â€ YOU ARE ALL AN INSPIRATION đ
Thanks for the hospitality showing us your home. Fantastic!
Too many fractures for me.
Also, an idea for fracturing would be to overlap your fracture papers and cut a swiggly line and then when you spray paint lines they wouldn't just be straight lines.
Great Job guys!
StoneCoat 4/ever
Absolutely Beautiful I wish I had your talent
That first layer was beautiful!!
I love the colors but I didnât like the fracture lines. Some of the interlinked lines donât look natural.
Thanks again!
thanks for taking the time to drop a comment, this really helps the video grow! We appreciate youđ„đ
it's a rain forest with vines hanging down and things like that. It takes us away deep into a rain forest like in Brazil. It's really amazing if you allow yourself to imagine something like Avatar's deep jungle scenes.
I love this soooo much. I have an old store building I am rehabbing myself. Im going to do this for the counter I am going to build. I sooo thank you all so much. Love it and its beautiful.
I absolutely love this countertop!!!! Beyond words!!!
LOVE THE COLORS-and those veins and fracture lines are beautiful!
No vote on the fractures. They are too straight.
I really like the pour, how amazing it turned out. If I were to do it for my own, I would probably add a few thin fracture lines, but far less than you have here.
I think he did it for demonstration purposes.
So amazingly gorgeous colorsđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
I was subscribed and it came undone! I had saved a lot of videos, don't know what happened. Beautiful! Wow
Omg what a beautiful home. I can only imagine the rest and zen your family must get when you go there. I live in New Mexico now but grew up in Humboldt county right in the redwood forest and I miss the green. Thank you god sharing. Iâm a huge stone coat fan
I love all the colors! And I love all the fractures! Beautiful! Beautiful! đ„° I love, love avocados đ„, coconuts đ„„ and mangoes đ„ but no papayas thank you! Your home is beautiful! What a paradise! So blessed! đ

Thank you so much for your feedback! Have you had a chance to use Stone Coat for a project? You Got ThisđȘ
because I love all the fruit trees that is just incredible
Looked great before the fracture veins, after you couldn't see the beauty of the piece as all you can see are the veins.
Love it! Would love to see something like these highlights Purple-ish colors (like amethyst). Thanks!!!
I love that it never ends up in any way that you would expect. It is always beautiful.
Thanks!
The colors are amazing together. You guys rock
I feel the same way! Thanks for watching Doris, we appreciate you!
Oh my God...awesome work,a piece of art..live in heaven, let me live with you pleaseđ đ â€ïžâ€ïž
I'm watching this in Aug 2023, and the most amazing thing I picked up was adding thin veins with a brush after the epoxy is set. I'm seeing that as a great fine tuning step!
Amazing! Beautiful colors and very interesting techniques. Thank you for sharing!
No matter what you do it'll be a one of a kind piece of art !!
I'm doing this. Just got our cabin in Alaska dried in - this is going to be awesome!!!
I was just zoned in listening to the coquis and watching the pour â€

@@StoneCoatCountertopsYou are quite welcome!! đ€
So cool to see you guys are a real community of artist off of YT because of you tube , that's great!
CZcams has a funny way of bringing people together!
The difference between a good job and a great job is the attention to details.
Cool thing about granite is that no two pieces are alike. Similar, but not exactly alike. This is great. Nice job folks
Wow at the end itâs so amazing
Really beautiful outcome.
Awesome âŁïž I can tell you all are SO into self expression and creating. I love it âŁïž
This is awesome. How stone coat transforms is amazing đ€©

I might do that
LOVe IT! Yes, Please show how to make PVC look like bamboo trim.

My boyfriend and I are finally starting to play with your epoxy products, thanks to your videos! I was wondering ⊠how do you clean the âchopâ brushes after using them?

Lol

Awesome!

I love ya channel and thankful for your knowledge your giving as soon as Im set up will be making this one of my hobbies or main
The nice thing about this countertop is in a while if your vision changes you can tape sand and make it new again. Muttering is a real thing right? That counter track .. Love the mineral spirits tip too. Getting to be with some of your best buds. Priceless.
Not a big fan of the fractures on this one. But still looks cool
Thanks friend
Thanks for the honest feedback, have you worked with epoxy on a project yet?
