Hello Mitch, my name is Roger. I am doing a complete house remodel. I am going to do one of your countertop pours but was planning on painting the cabinets first. I was having trouble deciding which product on the market to use. I am very interested in the cabinet paint system you talked about on your live program. It's hard to pick a favorite they are all so beautiful and would depend on color scheme of kitchen or house and cabinet colors.

I would absolutely 💯 love to be a kitchen cabinet paint tester!😊 I've watched tons of cabinet refinishing videos over the past year, and I'm ready to make a change along with epoxy countertops for icing on top of the cake (well, cabinets anyway). I stained my oak cabinets in 2000, so I know what's involved in refinishing. 😁

Hi Mitch, I appreciate everything you have been teaching us over the years and the continuing education you provide. I've noticed some of the tools that used to be on the website have disappeared. Is it a stocking issue or can they be had elsewhere?
Started sanding cabinet doors 😮💨 to paint. Countertop after (unless it's best to flip order). My husband heard your voice AGAIN and said "oh NO! Tell me you're not going to try that!" 30 years together 🙄think he'd know I believe it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission 😂! I'm game for being a tester!!! Good bye late 90's Contractor "Oak" cabinets!!

Exotic pour for the kitchen.... because it's less busy and wont scream attention. There will be appliances n things on and near it. Cabinetry and sinks and cooktops.... pretty much ask for a less busy countertop.
Artistic pour w the mire crisp details.... bathroom all the Way. Lends to prescion make up n hair styling and oral hygiene.
Just one old mans opinion. Both fir thier own reasons.

Hi Mitch can shellac be used for a seal coat then epoxy over it.

Your story about the man who mixed B only, reminded me of an issue I had. I was working on a sample board and realized I was going to be short of the Art Coat by several ounces. Thought about using the Quick Coat to finish it, but thought better. Can you mix the different media?

Hi! Margie from GA, Why does the epoxy turn colors to dark yellow? Then it doesn't get real hard and is bending
Sometimes when I’m doing one, I don’t like it so mess it up with my hand and I still don’t like it throw some alcohol on it then it starts looking wicked

I have a 4ft bar how much solution epoxy would i need?
assuming the top is 2 ft deep, your bar is 8 square foot.
6 ounce per sqft for exotic pour
3-4 ounces per sqft for hand meld
3 ounces per sqft for clear coat
You will need 1 - 1 gallon kit of epoxy for that sized project
Hand melt
OOO OO OO~~~~ me me for the cabinet paint system testers!!! Someone did a terrible job on the ones I have now - paint is peeling, didn't do the insides & that looks horrible when you open the doors ☹- light turquoise on the outside, matte dark brown paint on the insides! YUCK!
