tyre bar car and bike alloys

I adapted one of these a bit, I welded flat plate along the two sides of the bar, because when you put on the tyre, sometimes as you pull the bar round and you get 2/3rd's round the tyre being on you find the round bar likes to twist against the round locking tube and so you come to a dead stop basically as it tries to twist itself out the tyre, but by having 2" of flat pushing against the locking tube the tyre bar cannot twist out, so you are able to complete the full circle of putting it on.

I just bought one, did 2 motorcycle tyres tonight - need to warm the tyres a bit as they were stiff from being in a cold garage but the tyre bar works a treat - great tool and worth it if you do your own tyres regular

I also bought one to do my 4x4 tyres which it does with ease, Great tool, better than a plain bar as the nylon rollers actually turn and the nylon pad protects the wheel edge, Great Demo Vid too. :¬)

I have a Volvo V70 with 16 inch alloys. Using an Ace manual tyre changer circa 1970s, the Ace tyre lever would scratch marks into the alloys. This tool appear to over come the problem. As shown in the clip getting the tyre off is as simple as that. Oh bolt the tyre changer to the floor.
