Garner State Park Dog Friendly Trails: First Day’s Hike with Waffle

Explore Garner State Park's Dog-Friendly Trails with your Pup! Join us and our adventurous dog, Waffle, on a pawsome hike through Garner State Park! On our first day hiking, we conquered 11 incredible trails, including the scenic Blinn River Trail, the Foshee Trail, and the White Cave Trail. This Texas Hill Country state park gem is 1,420 acres with caves, Texas mountains, and the Frio River. Our visit was in March, a fantastic time to visit, with beautiful wildflowers and comfortable hiking temperatures. ️
Waffle had a blast splashing around in the cool waters of the Frio River, and the overlook trails provided breathtaking views of the Texas Hill Country. Whether you're looking for a leisurely stroll or a challenging hike, Garner offers something for everyone (and their furry companions!). I think Garner looks like a really great state park. There's so much of Texas we've not explored. Maybe one day we'll get back there and get to enjoy more of that massive state. Thanks for taking us along.

It is one of the best parks and I'd recommend it if you make it back this way. Overall, Texas just doesn't have as much public land as other states.

I love Garner❤ It's one of my favorite parks. The atmosphere and setting there are so relaxing. My favorite time to go is during the week in the winter. That way it's mostly empty 😊 Great video my friend! Have a wonderful evening!

Garner State 8:07 Park is an awesome place. You can take Waffle on the Old Baldy Trails. Looks like some nice flow in the Frio.

It really is! I've only been in spring but I'd like to make a winter trip next year. Waffle made it up to Old Baldy on the second day of our hike so stay tuned for that!
