Valiant 1.3 Maiden Flight at Osceola Flyers RC Field

Maidened the Valiant 1.3 at Osceola RC Flyers field. Winds were gusty from 15 to 25mph at 90 degrees to the runway.
Added 3" wheels, an aluminum spinner, 11x7 prop,Frsky Archer R8 plus receiver, telemetry including cell voltage and amps. The whole setup balanced perfect with a 3S 3300mAh Lipo all the way back in the battery compartment.
Turned out that flight charateristics were similar to my Valiant with a 40cc gas engine.

A little windy but it looks like you both handled it well. What tires did you use for grass? I just got this plane and would like to do the same for grass takeoffs and landing.
