Amazing video ! Mountainbiking is like fighting in life where you need a lot of determination and ambition to get through. Your bike is your friend who thrustfully helps you to survive.
Great ride bro! I came here after i seen a similar preview video on a fb bike group im in. I wanted to see the whole race not just a 3 min teaser, so here i am. I kept hoping you would overtake the 2 red guys, but you lost them in hte end. You made an awesome run mate! GG!
I Do not know how many vertical ft or meters that was, but my ears were popping just watching. I also believe I would have stopped for a beer when the track went through the bar.
If you continue your race instead of helping, victory is much more important than a human life. No matter how easy or difficult the person is injured. At least 2 people must be with the injured person until a third or fourth person can replace them. Greetings from Germany.
As for the rider at 7:14, I don't know if there's much another racer can do in that situation except perhaps call for the rescue team. Most racers don't carry provisions to help another out in need, so stopping and trying to do something isn't going to help. In any case, OC did an amazing run and I feel was limited to slow and awkward riders up front. I would try out the lower trails, but that mountain is something else
That is insane. If the first guy went off a cliff, I think everyone would have gone off a cliff due to visibility. I dont know how anyone followed the correct path. Great riding
The Bikevlog - Duh...It's still winter/spring at elevation in the ALPS. White out Add the wind chill factor...riding on snow, wearing almost tennis shoes. 100% humidity. No. It's another day on the couch.
@@NicolasBoisset Oh you notified the rescuers, thats what it was. I was confused why you were talking to that person while other riders were passing you. Respect to you! Nice!
Salut, me permet tu d'utiliser quelques secondes de ta video dans mon montage ? tu me vois passer sur le glacier sur la droite a 1m36 environ (j'étais a 69KM/H pour info) puis plus loin tu me redouble entre 16m20 et 16m32....et je me scratch lamentablement sur le second gap de sapin....Fracture clavicule :(
Or people that dosent like to see a guy on the ground at 7:11 and nobody help him. Even in race must be time to help other ! The life goes farther after the race !
@@JuliusCesar2781 i know this is a little late after 4 years, but in a situation like that you cant do much. NEVER, NEVER move someone that could have a head or spinal injury. They informed the guys that watch the road and they are responsible for calling a medic helicopter (which most likely happened, but you dont see it in this video). Do you expect to stop the whole race? Its a tragic accident, but the rider knew this could probably happen. Pretty sure they have to sign a waiver. I just hope the dude is ok
Higher end components are more reliable (less service required, they still break if one smashes them) and weight less. After 2-2500 price point one gets diminished returns for the investment, meaning one gets most bang for the buck in that category mentioned. Upping the price means very nice components, but with very much added cost to return ratio.
ma come si fa a fare una gara del genere dove ci vuole più tempo a sgomitare a piedi tra la gente di quello che ci si metterebbe a scendere in sella per un normale giro turistico?
Bored guy: "Hey, I have an idea that's both goofy and dangerous." 600 other guys: "We're in!"
brutal stage ! ... I can only image how your arms are feeling after that run ;) . Well done Nico !
exellent race! i only dream of a race like this. thanks for uploading.

Fantastic! Best bike video on CZcams. Keep it up. Would love to see more races. Thanks.
Great video. Looked like a lot of fun riding down the mountain.

Vraiment Nice ta descente sur la fin :3
How much does IT cost to go to mountain hell?
That is insane. If the first guy went off a cliff, I think everyone would have gone off a cliff due to visibility. I dont know how anyone followed the correct path. Great riding
Looks fun. Cept for that guy that crashed and sounded he was in pain
No studs allowed?

Looks like lot's of fun :) Just a pitty that driving is so hard with so much people.
Good type of race, through the "PUB" !! Yeah !
what is the meaning of this competition if all of them left to pass the 1st place
The guy with blue bike ahead of you looks like he is cycling to work :) Jeans, sneakers and regular coat...
That's how I always ride :3
аж мурашки по коже.. ЕЕЕеее)
nice....thumbs up... what is your bike please..?
I have a trek remedy
I notice at times they have to walk there bikes up steep hills and get down large cliffs. you have to want it that's for sure.
Did everyone have to slow down because it was so steep?
this is the best year
1:55 the guy on the right, I can hear the auzzy man saying and he goes down again
Молодец!
WOOh... i do biking like this all the time
what temperature is there? Is it really cold? :)
The Bikevlog Channel -10°C
Yes !
Nicolas Boisset holy fuck thats cold ❄️

8:29...id be like the flyby in the yellow shirt! :)...what a run, would have loved to have been taking part tho! :)
Man what was wrong with the guy at 7:14 ? Did he answer anything? Why did you just go?
I went to prevent the rescue at 8:00
Dude, prevent the rescue doesn't mean perhaps what you think it does lol.
Was he okay though? What ended up happening?
@@NicolasBoisset Oh you notified the rescuers, thats what it was. I was confused why you were talking to that person while other riders were passing you. Respect to you! Nice!

Cette piste ce situe dans quelle coin?
Les Deux Alpes, France
What about subtitles in english for us that don't understand Nicolas' language ?!

Super, merci c cool :)
je mettrai le lien....
At. 7.15 did the guy hurt himself?.
Is this track really hard or do almost everyone suck at downhill? Hard to tell from video.
Okay i just watched the last years "2nd place" guys video. And this race definetely hard but in this video people also suck at downhill :P
Lol.... I was thinking the same... they look like xc riders
its just like a video game...
why every year is : HIGHT WAY TO HELL?
nice hell!!
is this what you do when zwift is down
Could you feel the elevation pressure in your ears?
nice bro
Ca devais cailler au départ 😥

Is it possible to ride a race like this with a around 1500€ bike? i.E. a
mondraker faktor
brun yes sûre!
mkey. what is then the difference between a 1500 und 4000€ bike?
brun Components, as long as a bike is quality you can pretty much do anything on it.
Higher end components are more reliable (less service required, they still break if one smashes them) and weight less. k. bought the Mondraker. May upgrade the frontbreak to two calipars when i am enhancing.
showww!!
Somebody behind yelled before crashing hard at 48:06
