After two explosive events in the Pyrenees, the tour heads across the Atlantic to the freeride haven of Kicking Horse, where athletes will have their final chance to lock in points before the cut. The event was postponed a month due to mediocre early season snow, but now the Canadian Rockies are ready with epic conditions awaiting the world’s best freeriders.

This event has multiple runs that will be top 10 highlights. This year is looking to be one of the best. All these new skiers are incredible. Wouldn't want to be in the judges seat, just too many top notch runs.

Can we have interviews between runs please! Enough time while waiting before the next rider goes, so often want to hear their take on it.
some quick math because why not: Hitzig was in the air on that backflip for about 2.5 seconds. He covered 100 vertical feet and his downward velocity was ~55mph when he landed. (This doesn't consider his forward velocity and assumes the takeoff was straight out horizontally) Finally: the Seth Morrison shoutout is 100% accurate :)
FWT should have more events in North America. Some great venues out there.

Holden won my vote for audience choice! That fall was gnarly, and to brush it off without a second thought and immediately haul ass into a 40+ foot cliff was awesome!

Thanks! Was looking if someone has put this comment already :) Leif is my absolute favourite this season, so much technique, fluidity, quick thinking and speed! A real pleasure to watch him skiing. Hope, he will have more luck in Austria (if there would be any snow left in Alps).

See what happens when riders who dare to do something more interesting get docked hard for any slip up without taking into account the risk taken before that slip up.... Stale... shame about Cody having an injury he really just rode without letting the judging criteria affect him and I think that inspired others to Ft fwt judging system. They need a new criteria to do with pushing boundaries that balances out taking some risk to do something awesome vs a clean run.

I gotta be honest, Xander had a great run, but it definitely wasn’t podium contention.
For a podium, things have to be perfection, and while there is certainly something to say about saving a situation that *should* be unsavable, it’s not clean, and clean is what the judges look for.
