    In this video it was pointed out that I was supposed to install the ball joint on the lower part of the uca due to my lifted application. I will be fixing this before it goes to the alignment shop 👍 thanks guys

      @2015_Rubicnn Pƙed 4 lety +3

      Their instructions state:
      Mount upper ball joints to bottom of control if you are adjusted above stock height.
      Mount ball joint down through top of control arm if your truck is stock height, or you have a 4" and up lift kit keeping torsion keys relaxed and control arms flat.đŸ€·đŸŒâ€â™‚ïž

    Dirt King Fab. makes alignment cams that CAN NOT move out of alignment. I also recommend ditching the stock alignment pins (which can fall out on their own anyway) and use 12mm bolts with nylocks...for stock cams or aftermarket cams. The kit is under $70 bucks per truck. If you are going to install upper control arms, this kit will save you alignment issues down the road...or trail.

    @ Truck Master I believe the ball-joints are on the wrong side of the control arm for a lifted application. I believe they should be mounted to the bottom of the control arm. (If you are adding this a-arm kit to a factory height truck just to take advantage of the bolt in ball joint feature and do not plan to level it out, you must drop the ball joint down through the ball joint pocket so that the ball joint flange is on top. Mount the ball joint on the bottom of the arm for leveled or lifted trucks. Tighten all hardware in this step to 22 ft-lbs. of torque.)

    • @TruckMaster
      @TruckMaster  Pƙed 4 lety +1

      Your right I missed that step thanks 🙏 looks like I’m fixing that now 😂 luckily I didn’t get a alignment yet

    • @2015_Rubicnn
      @2015_Rubicnn Pƙed 4 lety

      The instructions are confusing....
      Mount upper ball joints to bottom of control if you are adjusted above stock height. ( Meaning cranked keys? )
      Mount ball joint down through top of control arm if your truck is stock height, or you have a 4" and up lift kit keeping torsion keys relaxed and control arms flat. Which is it...you obviously aren't stock height with a 4" and up lift.

    • @davewilliams4296
      @davewilliams4296 Pƙed 4 lety +1

      Several different companies are using lift spindles by doing so it keeps the factory geometry the same on the upper control arms
      The lower control arm is relocated using a new cross member that ties everything into the factory frame mounts
      Lift spinals are a much stronger way to go !

Apparently Kryptonite can't get that basic info included with their products as far as I can tell I got NO instructions and they have nothing on their website. After emailing them they sent me instructions they blame on new employees omitting a print out from the packages.

    Awesome video. Quick unrelated question. How different is the egr delete between the lbz and lmm? I've watched your video on the lbz

      Not much at all other than the u-shaped coolant bypass tube in a Egr delete kit

      @@TruckMaster so pretty much just the coolant bypass? The rest is the same. For the most part?

    Why are you running those garbage control arm drop brackets? Get lift spindles and get rid of the drop brackets.

    Hello! I know this is an older video, but do I need to grease my Kryptonite control arms? It says they come pre-greased, just want to ask before I mess up!

    Holy suspension geometry cluster f*CK please do it right or don't do it at all DROP SPINDLES it corrects all of that without all that ball joint stress and having to do all that kryptonite makes great stuff but you still need drop spindles to correct that angle
