3:05 About the Colonel telling you to "press the action button" breaking the immersion, I think it actually works on a level where every part of the game becomes part of the game world; even the menus, button prompts, your systems save data, your controller, the cd case, etc. Once you get used to it, it creates a really unique internal logic, which the game utilizes in really creative ways. Anyways, really enjoying these tremendous times :))
This makes me want to go and play some of these games. I had mgs3 back in the day but all the plot stuff went over my head because I was too young and the gameplay required too much patience (lol), so I eventually dropped it
The MGS silly feel, like 3:05 combined with how the MGS is "accidently" profound and sometimes even accurate of the times we live in 20 year slater (I'm mainly thinking of MGS 2) is what makes MGS so damn cool, simply nothing like it
Really funny that they were talking over the dialogue right before she says women have more hiding places than men, it's by far one of the most crass things anyone says in this game.

MG2's story's main plot points are basically the same as MGS' story's. The story is very cool for a MSX game.
