Lego City Update December 2020: Bookshop 10270

Another Lego-city-update for the small independent city-state of Brickostan.

Welcome to the November update for the small independent city-state of Brickostan.
I bought the bookshop, Lego set 10270, placed it next to the diner and changed the tiling to match what’s already up here: 1x2 dark orange tiles.
The green holes in the pavement is because I ran out of 1x2 jumper plates in the correct colour.
To get more space in front of the buildings, I moved them seven studs back on the baseplate.
I also worked on the retaining wall on the curved track section - next to the grave robbers.
And mounted sleepers, or ties, on more of railroad tracks.
The Skinny Girl Camp still has a bunch of non-voluntary clients.
They’re eating a lot, but they don’t seem to get any fatter.
The Chili billboard needed some cleaning.
And Emmet is about to crush a mother with her baby under a statue.
Maybe he should be locked up instead of the skinny girls.
However, the illegal drug trade is flourishing in the city.

Thanks. Yeah. It’s all the in-between areas that takes all the time. Especially when you don’t want it to have a flat 2D look. Building sets, no matter how big they are, is quickly done.
