👨‍💼 Height of All Presidents of the USA 1789 to 2024 | Height Comparison

  • A record of the heights of the presidents of the United States and presidential candidates is useful for evaluating what role, if any, height plays in presidential elections. Some observers have noted that the taller of the two major-party candidates tends to prevail, and argue this is due to the public's preference for taller candidates.
The average height of the 45 men who have served as the President of the United States is approximately 180cm (5'11"); this is roughly five centimeters (two inches) taller than the average U.S. male in 2020. Abraham Lincoln has the distinction of being the tallest U.S. president in history, at 193cm (6'4"), while James Madison was the shortest (and lightest) U.S. president at 163cm (5'4").
Abraham Lincoln was the tallest president at 6 feet 4 inches (193 cm) tall.
James Madison was the shortest president at 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm) tall.
The average height of the US presidents is 5 feet 11 inches (180 cm) tall.

@@trandyescapes9798 Thanks for sharing your view. I see Trandy Escapes is located in the USA and is a blog by a “Black and White” couple. As such, you’ll be more conversant than me regarding the debates surrounding Abraham Lincoln, of whom purportedly 15,000 books have been written, second only to Jesus Christ. I’m not White, Black, or a Lincoln Apologist. As a boy of 5, I chanced upon the picture story of “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” and was profoundly horrified and saddened by the inhumanity of man towards man - the oppression of the weak by the powerful. Outside the school curriculum, I then read a little about Lincoln and was touched by what he had done. During the first of my 4 visits to the USA, my Black friend remarked, “Good old Abe Lincoln.” when he was showing me around DC. It is Lincoln’s humanity and compassion, not his height, that matters to me, whatever prejudices he might have held and shared with his imperfect contemporaries. Unfortunately, prejudices still prevail today and the consequences are starkly apparent.

Right. I don't think he was ever 6'3". Look at him next to Jared Kushner or his son Eric. They're 6"3". And Trump is not 2" taller than Obama. He's actually a bit shorter than Obama in pics of them standing together. And next to Jared Kushner, he looks 2-3 inches shorter.

Just asking how does knowing their heights add value into our lives.....
But atleast we've known them by their names which is okey but would be wise if you stated the period of their ruling each.

Interesting video. See I didn't even know I gave a flip about how tall all the Presidents of the United States were but hey, like I always told my son and grandson, which is what Mom told us kids, you never know what the next question will be if you make it on a game show. Trick is to remember as much as you can of all the so called useless information you will learn in life.
