- Released in October 1988, WCW vs NWO Revenge would build upon the success that WCW vs NWO World Tour had brought to the Nintendo 64 Console. Thie success of Revenge on the N64 not only won the award for Best Figting Game of the Year, but it established the template that later THQ would use to develop the greatest wrestling game in video game history, WWF No Mercy.

I never got into wrestling but thought it was pretty cool when I was a kid when I'd watch it at friend's houses. I played a few of them but couldn't tell you which ones. I just remember we'd always play the Royal Rumble. As I was watching this video I was about to say Goldberg was my favorite and then you start talking about him! My friends would always update me on what happened during his matches haha. 63 total characters is a huge roster for this game. Sounds like there are a lot of great details for it. Nice video!
The late 90s and early 2000s were the golden years for wrestling and with simple controls that feel fluent and easy to play I can not recommend the THQ n64 games enough. Thanks for watching.
Thank you! I've been asking the same question as to why THQ make their shit so complicated! I just want to hit a backdrop, not press six buttons, wiggle the left stick and hit the right trigger.

I can’t recommend this one enough. Such a classic, still one of the best wrestling games ever made and it’s priced pretty cheap
