So if u don't mind u can carefully rewatch this video and tell me where u see phenol. Besides this liquid antiseptic is alcohol based and not water based as u mentioned. So carefully watch & learn and stop mixing two different methods as one. Thank you. And if u have been using phenol in making yours pls stop it, coz it's not ideal, it causes serious skin irritation and could also cause infertility in ladies. So Take note.
Thanks for your observation! The fact remains you do not need phenol for antiseptic (Dettol) making, the active ingredient in antiseptic is chloroxylenol. Dettol 1 liter Texapon 50 mls ,dechlorizanon 100 mls Pine oil150mls Isoproply alcohol 700 mls Colour Pine oil in mixing bowl Texpon must be dissolved b4 mixing to pine oil After stir add declorizanon measure 700 mls isopropyl alcohol to the mixture and stir must be carefully for colour package
Follow each chemical measurement and multiply yours by two or three, depending on the quantity of antiseptic u want to produce. If u are making 5litres, simply multiply the above measurement by five. This is for diy/ teaching purpose, I only make large quantity for supply or when someone place order. Thanks

You do not need fragrance for original antiseptic, the combination of pine oil, phenol & chloroxylenol is what gives the natural antiseptic fragrance. Except you want to make the adulterated one, with just water, color & fragrance, which is not advisable cos it's not really effective in killing germs/ bacteria like doing it the right way

This could be very harsh on the skin. There is need to add some water to help reduce the harshness on the the skin. Especially, Phenol.
