How To MAKE DISINFECTANT At HOME

- Homemade disinfectant is really not that hard to make, once you have the right ingredients. In this video I'll take you through the simple steps to make your own disinfectant at home. Especially in these pandemic times, it is very necessary to disinfect the high contact hard surfaces in your home as often and possible. With your own homemade disinfectant, it does not have to be an expensive affair. The savings are astronomical. It is so easy, and will only take you a few minutes.
After you have finished using disinfectant, remember to wash your hands with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds. If you haven't watched my video on how to make your own handwash at home, here is the link:

Hi guys! Thanks for watching! I forgot to say where to get the ingredients.. They can be bought here in Nairobi, at OTC, just behind Tuskys supermarket. I give more exact directions in my Liquid Detergent video. At the shop, they will also tell you the names of the chemicals used and their proportions. I am not certified to give out that information, and that's why I leave it out. However you can easily get it at the shop. Thanks again!

Just made this. Though my supplies seem different from yours since I bought them in Nakuru. Also was more expensive. It cost kshs 260.

Not everyone is using your plug for the ingredients, thus it would have been more practical to mention the stuff used to make the disinfectant and the required amount for the 5 litres.

It would be very helpful if you got to know the ingredients and mention them as you do the mixing, I got the idea to make soap from your video but it was not helpful and had to learn from other you tubers who demonstrate it very well and allow you to understand what you are mixing

I made this before. My only problem is the way it foams. The foam is just so much.
But the scent is great. You use it to clean the house and a smell of freshness is left.
If I could know how to reduce the foam. Coz this forces me to use just enough to avoid so much foam.
Sorry, my comment above is about antiseptic not disinfectant. I haven't tried the disinfectant
Where do we get good hand towels at a good price?
The foam reduces over time. I was also a bit surprised by the foam at first, but I realised it doesn't hinder the disinfection qualities. I also like using it to clean the floor and wipe surfaces, clean the toilet, etc.

Hey Florence. I wouldn't add any disinfectant to bathing water unless advised by the doctor, because it changes the pH levels on your skin (and other places 😉😁) doing more harm than good. 🌟🌻💐
