- Have you ever wanted to duplicate Cane's Sauce that you get in the Cane's chicken restaurant? In this video you'll learn how easy it is to make this delicious creamy dipping sauce. The recipe is not authentic because it is a well kept secret, but this sauce is extremely close to the real thing. I've tried it two different ways and discovered two important steps that I didn't do the first time. The copycat Cane's sauce sauce I made last only has 5 ingredients with one important tip. Give it a try in your kitchen and enjoy a delicious dipping sauce that's great with fried chicken, burgers or even French fries.
Servings: Makes 3/4 Cup
Shopping List:
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp.
1 tsp. fresh cracked peppercorns or course black pepper
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
Store unused sauce up to mon pepper14 days in the fridge if using store bought mayo and ketchup, otherwise store 7 days.
Directions:
In a bowl, add all ingredients, stir well, cover tightly and place in the fridge for at least 24 hours. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP. IF YOU SKIP THIS STEP THE SAUCE WILL NOT TASTE LIKE CANE'S SAUCE.

Where I live, many times, there have been cars lined down a road waiting to order at the Cane’s drive-through. I don’t have the patience for that. I’ve never been to a Cane’s, but have eaten their food at least once at work. KFC is a sentimental, family favorite. But I have not gone there in maybe 1-2 years. Not sure why. Just haven’t. I think I have all of the ingredients for this sauce. Thanks, Richard! Looks tasty!
Thanks for sharing and for watching. Hope you enjoy!
Richard I will be definitely trying this. Easy peasy! Thank you!
YW. Thanks for watching Sis
Even though I don't have anything to compare it to since there are no Raising Cane's anywhere close to my home, since Richard felt this recipe was close to the Real Deal, I made this sauce to go with some chicken tenders and tater tots ... and it was delicious! ... for what it's worth, I used Bell & Evans brand tenders and to my delight, it actually had heating instructions for an air fryer ... quite a rarity for things I buy that absolutely SHOULD have air fryer heating instructions for their product this day and age ... the lack thereof is why I count on Richard in the Kitchen for all those air fryer recipes with the all important temperature and time for full yumminess ... will try the leftover Cane's Copycat Sauce from tonight on a burger with fries tomorrow ... mmmmmm!
Thanks for your kind words. I appreciate it. Glad you liked it.
Thank you ! I love cane sauce I will be definitely trying this
Hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching.
Richard, looks good , never had or heard of Cane's chicken, we don't have those places anywhere near here, in Kentucky you know the big chicken name but corporations ruined it, small chicken pieces, etc...
Thanks. There are 15 in Kentucky.
@@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN ty for the info , I will look them up, I have never seen one, no ads either, I'll see if they are in western KY. because I rarely go/visit that area, no kin or anything in that part of Ky.,
@@stevelogan5475 Just fry chicken tenders and make the sauce.
@@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN found them, ok, they are called "Raising Cane's Chicken" here, known for their chicken fingers, that I know, sorry about that, I just never heard it called just Cane's, some places have similar names, at home we had Burger Queen & not King, same food, different names for the burgers, etc...
@@stevelogan5475 yes. The video thumbnail reads Canes Sauce. The title under the video read Raising Canes…..
Honestly this wasnt too busy in vegas but they just built one in florida and people be acting like its a next gen chick fil a
Thanks for watching.
Zaxbys is still better than both
It tastes like it's still missing something, possibly Cajun seasoning? I feel like I can taste Cajun when I eat Cane's sauce
I thought it had a hint of heat too, but when I researched it I couldn't find where the basic recipe had Cajun or creole seasoning in it. The next time I made it I increased the amount of pepper. I use course black pepper rather than regular pepper. Thanks for watching.
missing 1tsp of lemon pepper
trust me
Its missing paprika
@Hayteyu Oops. I did put it in there and forgot to mention it in the video or list in description. You can actually see it in the thumbnail. I’ve since added it in description. Thanks for pointing it out and for watching.
Don’t forget the lemon pepper.
Thanks for watching.
Does this go well with onion rings?
Sure! A friend di that and said it as good. Thanks for watchin.
Mayo and ketchup. Being put together on burgers for eons… now people act like Canes has reinvented the wheel with it. 🙄
Yep. Thanks for watching.
Add paprika.
Ir extra hot chilli powder

Ugh. Yes I surely did. I've added it the written description. Thanks so much!@
