I actually played in my Air Jordan XI (the hi-top version) a few times, and it's still playable. One of the drawbacks to the XI's would be the break-in period with the midsoles since they were built to last longer. Another one would be the materials on the upper if you're playing in a leather or suede upper instead of mesh.
in the philippines we play hoops even without a shoes we made our own rings just to play . ball is life cant stop the love

Great review! Those navy 11s looks sick on court!! I am surprised those Yellow 11 IE's soles haven't separated since it was from 2007. Did you have to reglue those IE's soles?

Kinda feel like the Navy/Gum 11s were intended more for being worn as normal kicks, and not so much for hooping in.
Who cares, jordans are still basketball shoes, jus saying..
Yeah, but the materials that are put into a shoe make a huge difference as far as functionality goes.
They can still be basketball shoes and function as such, but if they were made with looking stylish weighted more heavily than comfort and functionality while playing, then they'll never perform as well as some that were made almost purely with hooping in mind.

Gum soles suck on hardwood, use the cherries, translucent is the best, also 11 lows lack ankle support and always lace your shoes to the top and tight, Michael had bunny ear loops that swished in every direction cuz they were so tight

I hoop on the Jordan 11 lows almost all the time. Ppl are giving me weird looks cos I hoop in them, but whatever, they work just fine especially on indoor courts

I'm getting a pair of Jordan 11s but I always thought the ie Jordan 11 was better performance wise and the new Jordan 11s were better looking in design. But out of all there both a good pair of shoes

I wear 11.5 normally,Should I look for another shoe or should I get 12?

I have a wide foot as well, and with the kd 8 i felt comfortable going a half size up. Going from a 10 to a 10.5
+Igb_gsw Sole Brothers were saying it was way too narrow so it would not be comfortabe,that worried me but I will buy those now.
