I can't believe the comments from nationalist (deluded) "Greeks" here that there supposedly were "no Albanians in Greece prior to 1991". They believe that ideas originating from their wishful thinking (that Greek citizens are 100% "racially pure") can pass as facts. Anyone with just a basic knowledge of the region knows that almost all of Athens was Albanian-populated and Albanian-speaking by the time of the Greek revolution (in fact, they were the heroes of that revolution), and in what is present-day Northern Greece, the population was Albanian, Macedonian, Vlach, Jewish and Turkish, with barely a Greek to be found. I can't believe the comments from nationalist (deluded) "Greeks" here that there supposedly were "no Albanians in Greece prior to 1991". They believe that ideas originating from their wishful thinking (that Greek citizens are 100% "racially pure") can pass as facts. Anyone with just a basic knowledge of the region knows that almost all of Athens was Albanian-populated and Albanian-speaking by the time of the Greek revolution (in fact, they were the heroes of that revolution), and in what is present-day Northern Greece, the population was Albanian, Macedonian, Vlach, Jewish and Turkish, with barely a Greek to be found.
It is also common knowledge (except amongst nationalist Greeks, apparently) that the Greek national costume and song/dance are of Albanian origin and even their first prime minister was an Albanian who couldn't even speak Greek.

The true name of those invaders were Mongol since Ottoman times since they only exist for a couple of centuries at most. They are Yellow and their eyes are barely open.
