Always have loved this. 121 is one of my favorite instrumentals ever! A powerful mood. That creamy smooth Strat neck pick-up with a bit of delay and overdrive along with the setting in a chill barn is like Floyd heaven.
Absolutely, and the end part where keyboard rises and bass changes is otherworldly; well, this is kind of the kitchen of PF's genesis, we couldn't expect something much different doesn't it? cheers and happy Sunday!

Sure, but sadly they did it with the purpose of to use it as a fill for future DVD/BD releases.

He played drums on some of Syd Barrett’s music in the early 70s as well.
He's been doing so for a long time now
He played them on "The Narrow Way (Part 3)" off Ummagumma
And on "Fat Old Sun" off Atom Heart Mother
Both times he did a pretty good copy of Nick Mason's style

Essa Jam session me lembra muito as antigas músicas do Pink Floyd, dos anos 60 e 70.
Love it! Getting a little look behind the scenes, 6:25 the mix desk and what was on that computer screen a high pass filter? I wonder what else they'd use in their jam sessions that they've used in gigs, what and how they go about it, I mean you wouldn't use all of the equipment in this barn jam as much as on stage but it makes sense to use the more favoured and select key equipment to achieve a good engineered sound, probably something Gilmour his crew have put together themselves in both on stage live gigs and chilled back scenarios when recording in both situations, given the years of interest and application of their collective culmination of sound and vision tech experience. This is where I imagine where a lot of the hard work goes into it, probably especially in a barn.

The Pink Floyd sound alive and well in this session.
gilmour and wright always carried the melody sound of pink floyd, roger waters was the great lyricist behind them and mason just set the ambiance, but wright and gilmour always had the pink floyd sound as guitar and keyboards
After finishing watching these incredible jams I has been asking myself... really these were recorded in 2007... or maybe they come from some late '60 season ? Probably the atmosphere in the studio of that period was the same... Who knows

Hi there! There are some more but they are shorter and mostly doesn't have the structure like the ones I included here. Nextly and after fixing some sound issues it have, I'll be adding one more Jam that left out from this set. Cheers!

Hey Markl Nice to see you over here! Well, I thought about that, but those other remaining fragments are pretty short in comparison to these and seems taken from a kind of backstage, some with very low sound quality and even with them joking each other. Only one of them could be rescued but after some sound rework since it has only one channel audio. I'll be publishing it very soon but after releasing another previous project which i'm working on right now and expect to finish it in the next days. Cheers my friend!

Hola Daniel. Las versiones oficiales ya están en mi canal hace tiempo, tanto de DSOT 2019 como Pulse 2019. Para encontrarlos revisá en mis listas de reproducción públicas. Están en formato canción x canción y también en video único, pasa que estos últimos (formato de video único) están blockeados por Pink Floyd y CZcams para determinados paises del mundo, probablemente por eso no los veas,. Saludos!

It’s curious how Gilmour manages to sound like himself in a small room without crushing levels of volume, confounding the ‘amps only get good toan when they are turned up to 11 and power tube distortion’ crowd.
