The sporting world works in fun ways sometimes. Is a specific team REALLY that good, or are they just the beneficiary of weak competition in an easy division?
With all that being said, let’s take a look at the five toughest divisions in sports right now, along with the five easiest.

The AL east is insane, and the fact that the Orioles were surprisingly competitive last year makes it even better
I’m an Os fan and gotta say … probably short lived as we always trade away or don’t resign our top players 😢
Do you mean AL east?
@@juliaz12345 my bad
@@jeffreed671 man that was the old management. We won’t do that ever again.
@@jeffreed671 that’s how it feels to be a Red Sox fan
AFC East is incredibly tough as well. Bills are one of the Super Bowl favorites, Miami is amazing with Tua taking a leap and Tyreek having a historic season. The Jets have an amazing defense and the best offense in the league when not quarterbacked by Zach Wilson. And the “worst” team, the Patriots are 6-6, well in the Playoff hunt with the greatest coach in sports history.
Thank you I was going to comment this
AFC east should have been in and the afc north should not have been in there
Thank u bro patriots my fav team and I'm mad we have a stacked division
No. This isn’t all about current. This is including current and all time before about 2/3 years ago the pats won it easily every year. The north was back and forth nonstop and ravens and Steelers recently won bowls while the pats carried their division
@@kaverydoss6129 All I can say is all that success over the past 20 years is coming back to haunt us.
AFC North is just a massive brawl because of how close these teams are. The rivalry games are always competitive and can get very violent
Its a gauntlet. Now 3 of 4 franchises in the division have a superstar QB. Burrow, Lamar, and Watson are gonna sling it against each other for years to come. Thats like 3 Heisman winners i just named right there too, weird. Its always loaded in the AFC North.
@@TheTony024 And never count out the Steelers also idk how or why but the Steelers always find a way to make every matchup a tuff one to win.
Yeah, we Ravens, in a bid to save our skins, lost Tyler Huntley for half the game and still won vs the Steelers
Finally a non-NFL centric video. It's about time.
Same. I love the NFL but it's nice to see content covering other sports, particularly NHL and NBA which I also follow.
As a guy who has lived in maryland his whole life, I love seeing my Baltimore teams compete every year even in the hardest divisions and rivalries in sports. The orioles and ravens are on the rise and I would love to see a title coming home in the next couple of years. The young talent that the orioles and ravens have is finomonal. I’m excited
I second this! I love our Baltimore teams!
Ikr I love Baltimore and our teams are going crazy
I fifth this my fellow Baltimore Metropolitan.
I would argue that the NL East have 3 of the best teams in baseball (Braves, Phillies, and Mets). It's going to be a fun season in 2023. Go Braves!
National League East!!! I agree. #FortheA
Video Idea: Predicting Every NFL Teams's future in the next 20 years.
great idea!!!!
Loved that you showed an old picture of the NHL Pacific Division with the Coyotes in it after you mentioned Seattle
Great video topic. This topic should be done at least twice a year. Know nothing about NBA and MLB but the NHL & NFL choices were spot on.
Love your video man
One of the hardest divisions in the NHL (besides our Flyers) is the metro. Teams have been outstanding in the metropolitan division.
Keep up the great work tps
The hardest I think is the Metropolitan division in the NHL
Keep ur work up
The hardest division currently is definitely in the the metro the rangers, the devils islanders caps, penguins, hurricanes flyers, and blue jackets that is by far the hardest division
No AFC East?
You should make a channel for just nba and another for just nhl it would be awesome
Metro in NHL definitely up there.
No gonna come down hard on you guys for saying the Steelers have had a winning season from 2004 to 2021 when we still have a good shot at one this year
NFC is going crazy this year tho yessir
The NFC east is so good this year
I haven’t watched the vid yet and the big 10 east better be on here as hardest
The Central Division in the NHL's western conference is hard as hell given Dallas, Colorado, Winnipeg, St Louis, and Nashville.
I like TPS and understand that football is #1. But glad too see a video with other sports again.
About the AFC west, NFC west NL west and NBA pacific...
10:19 The Jaguars also won 12 games in 2017. 10 in the regular season and 2 in playoffs.
Kd & Kylie left the room
10:11 especially this year. Every team above 500
you should ranks all divisions all sport leage
I think the falcons will be a playoff team next year or in w years, we have a good roster we just need a decent defense and a good QB (hopefully Ridder is the answer Cuz we are starting him now) but our CBs let up to many yards, I think if we dedicate this draft to defense we will be a playoff team
Honorable mention: hardest; AFC East. 4 winning records this year. The kings are Patriots (2001-2019), Bills ( with Josh Allen, Devin Singletary, and their defense), and the Dolphins (Tua's improvement, Waddle and Hill). But the Jets are still in the playoff picture and they are the "weakest" link here.
Patriots at 6-6 as a winning team🤔
@@shanaeverowe9626 maybe I'm saying that the patriots will win against the cardinals? Then they'll have a winning record.
Excited 4 later.
In college football the hardest division arguably is the Big 10 East with Michigan, Ohio state, Penn state and Michigan state
I love tps so much that I forget to check if it’s nfl content or not. I don’t give a damn about these other sports but I sit through it for tps
Every AFC North games it's closest to a playoff game until the actual playoffs start
FINALLY TPS NOT DOING AN ONLY NFL VIDEO!
Top 10 scariest teams in sports today. AKA, teams that are Thanos level good.
the nfc east this year is outstanding
Giants are ruining it
2022 NFC EAST could be the first division in history to send 4 teams to the postseason
Eagles are the 1 seed
Cowboys clinched the top WC spot
Giants need one more win to clinch 2nd WC SPOT
IT ALL DEPENDS ON COMMANDERS IF THEY CAN GET THE 3RD SPOT
@@kingturtle19 Giants are in the playoffs now
@@H2O_7 Washington ruined it
AFC east slept on
wrist vision currently
AL West aboutta be stacked
Yeah
HOU WS CHAMPS
SEA SHOULD BE BETTER AFTER MAKING POSTSEASON LAST YEAR
TEX ADD MONEY GREAT PLAYERS LIKE DEGROM
LAA NEW OWNER
OAK ARE DOWN LAST
Definitely the NHL metropolitan division.
How do you not have the NFC west in the hardest category
Seahawks have made the playoffs 10 times in the last 15 years plus made it to two superbowls
The 49ers are on the rise and we’re in the Super Bowl in 2019
Rams won the Super Bowl last year and If it wasn’t for injuries they would make it to the playoffs this year
And the cardinals won their first 8 games last year and just need a better coach to contend
Especially when you look at the past 10 seasons in the NFC alone,
The West division has made the NFC title game in all but 3 of those seasons (2016,2017 and 2020) with two seasons (2013, 2022) being an NFC West matchup.
Out of the NFC title games within that timeframe, the West has a 6-3 record with only one of those losses at the hands of a non-divisional opponent (Arizona in 2015)
The only thing I could think that would knock the West down compared to other divisions is their 2-4 record in the Super Bowl.
All my favorite teams are in the hardest category!
The Twins in the AL central I just won a world series
was wondering why it took you so long to mention the AFC South.
NL East?
2015: Mets win NL Pennant
2019: Nationals win WS
2021: Braves win WS
2022: Phillies win NL Pennant
Last szn 3 NL east teams made the playoffs (like the AL east)
Commanders are the 2nd best team in the division, slow start but have put up best defensive stats since week 6, and we have the second best recieving group. We are definitely better then the giants
Nl west should be on here
As a New York sports fan I’m happy and sad that all our teams are in the hardest divisions
NFC East has been up for grabs all season long and it will be decided by either the Eagles or the Cowboys!
I wouldnt call 8-0 exactly up for grabs but washington put a stop to that real quick 🤤
Kawa-hi Leonard😂
Bro said Ka wa he
How is Washington the weak link in the nfc east win giants are in last place I'm confused
Nfc east and afc east the 2 toughest NFL's divisions
AFC East, as a Bills fan, it is a HARD division
NFC East is just crazy rn. All 4 teams could make it to playoffs.
Hockey, NBA then NFL from hardest to easiest
Ben Simmons are Brick Simmons
AL West should of been on the list with two teams always making the postseason even with the Houston Astros beating up on the division, and before that the Texas Rangers beating up on the division. This coming year they have the same old Houston Astros being what they have been for years, a young and talented Seattle Mariners team, and now the Texas Rangers throwing out all the money to pick up some star power to put around a bit of young talent. If a division has six World Series appearances in twelves years, it should probably be mentioned.
In the NBA, the Pacific Division’s worst team has Anthony Davis and LeBron James. Three teams in it have been to the NBA finals every year since 2015 and all three have been relevant since Booker has been relevant.
NFL has one too: the AFC East. The AFC East has probably been better then their NFC counterpart this year. I’ll leave it at that.
The Afc north is the hood of the nfl
Bro is beating up the flames and oilers for under preforming in the play offs but then he doesn’t say anything about the leafs
The metro division is 100% harder than the atlantic division
These divisions aren't filled with the San Jose Sharks, right? Good.
I know you're not including college sports, but this year, the big ten east is the hardest divisions in sports - they make up half of the playoff
TPS is the goat
Where is the NL east braves phillies and Mets
AFC East Over the AFC North
AFC EAST is much harder than the AFC north. North has just two good teams now, east has 3-4
When the AFC East fields three teams in a single playoff, that claim will have more validity.
The Cowboys have been the only modicum of consistency over the last 10 years in the NFC East
Modicum of consistency, in that they can't get past the Divisional Round of the Playoffs, and haven't smelled a Super Bowl since the mid-90s?
@@SwiftOnSports i said consistency, not success. And yes they are the only team in the NFC East that has been somewhat consistent since 2012
5 10 win seasons and 6 playoff births. Your statement sayd more about the rest of the East than it does Dallas
Dude said ben simmons is a superstar
West
The NBA still has divisions?
Each NFL team's 2nd best and 2nd worst head coaches in history.
Afc north fans stand up 👏 👏
NBA PACIFIC with suns warriors clippers
hi
How dare you mention the Eagles o-line without bringing up Landon Dickerson
The Guardians nearly beat the Yankees in the Alds, they lost in 5 games and had a 2-1 series lead.
sucks to be a browns fan rn
The AFC East is legit good and is more competitive than the AFC North in my humble opinion.
Washington is the weak link in the NFC East?! I would most definitely argue that New York is the weak link
Funny how Brady always finds himself in the easiest divisions. The AFC East sucked when he was in it.
Where’s the nl east
The Golden Knights can win in the regular season but flounder in the post season.
Funny how they crumble against the Stars
I don't agree with the NFC south is the Easiest because it is obviously the AFC east And the AFC west and NFC west are both the hardest
Dudes on drugs if I read that right
NL Central- Easiest
Kawahee?
It’s frustrating being a Royals fan. This division isn’t that hard
AL East: Get Gud
Rest of MLB: You have pay to win
AL East: Get Gud
Titans winning the AFC south aged well😂😂😂
I’m sorry but how did he saw kawhi Leonard’s name?
It’s so weird how the whole nfc east 180 so hard especially the redskins hardcore contending
Yessir
Though two seasons ago, the division champ was 7-9.
I'm shouldn't be four easy in four hard isn't it four divisions in each NFC and AFC
why didn't you put the metro in there except for Philly and the jackets they are all playoff contenders
NL east
If the Texans get good in the AFC they would be good
For the nfl I shrink afc south is the hardest
B1G 10 Football Hardest
Honourable mention nfc west
rams? cardinals? they are jokes in 2022.
