      I agree. It’s been so much fun videoing him thru the years and seeing him continue to improve. He is one of the nicest people you’ll meet. Great student! Thanks for watching!

    I wonder how many nostalgia this brings to ex-high school drummers

    Holy cow, what an improvement!
    Any tips for getting through the solo part? I've been trying to learn it but keep getting tangled up trying to go to the lowest drum and back up

      Play the whole thing slower than you think you need to, then slowly but surely pick it up. I'm also trying to learn it myself.

    Jig 2 always makes marching band mosh pits lol, I might try drum line or band now cause it looks so fun.

      No problem man, and how fun would you say it is from your perspective

      It’s as fun as you make it. I honestly feel it’s one of the best things you can do in high school. Teaches teamwork and achievement. Check out some of the videos of the marching shows and awards from Oak Mountain Band. I have videoed the band for 16 years and kids still tell me how fun band was. Best wishes!

      Alright, and man that is a long time. Respect for that time margin. I’m not even 16 lol. And I’ve seen all of them. Redux got me into your channel and can’t wait to do this myself, thanks for the best wish, I wish you luck on finding more students like this

    Wonderfully played; especially that last bit with the extra camaraderie jig!!!.. you are just as captivating as your drumming techniques. You’re a handsome young man.

    What audio editing software do you use to clean up audio? Audacity or something like that?

    • @bwfitz
      @bwfitz  Před rokem +1

      I use Adobe Audition for the heavy clean up work. But primarily just use FCPX and Premiere Pro for any basic audio work. Thanks for watching.

    When is jig 2 2023 coming?

  • @elirob2916
    @elirob2916 Před rokem +1

    Can you do one for bassline?

    • @bwfitz
      @bwfitz  Před rokem +2

      That’s a great question! In reality I don’t have four years of bass drum footage for the same student like I did with this tenor player. Typically the students play front ensemble then maybe move to bass and then move to tenors or snares. I do have some bass drum footage of the marching show that I plan to share at some point. Thanks for watching!
