Just stumbled across this video. I used to live in Boise years ago before I was flying. Wish I would of started flying back then. Now for me to go there I'd have to fly quite a while to get there. :( Such a great looking place to fly.
Man this is cool, I just started training for my private pilot licence with the PA-11 and I love it, it's such a beautiful plane greetings from Argentina!
I enjoyed your video of the stol's landing competition. Looks like a lot of fun. Hoping I can do that too some time. Going for my FAA Medical class 3 next month and hope to have my student license soon. Keep'em flying.
Ahh Evan from Off Airport Gear nice to see his trip from another angle I spotted him about 7 times. If you don't already know he released a film on his trip recommend checking it out!
Very nicely done video. Didn't see a PA11 though. If you are refering to the orange cub of Pops Dory it is an exp category Super Cub "sort of" built by Kenny Johnson in Kentucky. Powered by an O-320 Lyc with scratch built everything.
"My airplane is so pretty! I love my airplane. What a beautiful airplane." (Polished Twin Beech arrives.) "My airplane sucks." Don't worry. We can't all be pretty.
Why Cessna 195 with radial at end of video didn't used even small flaps ? So long toff run :-( Take look at Aeroprakt Foxbat short take off - without any LE slats.
Yes I do know what a pa-11 is. My friend owns one! I asked Pops Dory what his plane is and he answered pa-11. It really isn't but thats about the closest thing to it, so thats what he tells people for a short quick answer. What do you fly?
9:40 The non-existent Aerodrome Tower gave the instruction to wait before the PA-11 to take-off and its ALMOST inexistent little turbulences... The STOL entered anyway on the turfy runway... I'm not expecting to see any ground service on this type of aerodrome, there's only one turfy that dropping over the mountains.
Is that a bearhawk about 7 minutes in? the maroon plane. beautiful color and lots of flaps? I think a bearhawk 4 seater is the airplane for me. "the last airplane you'll ever need"
Nice. Too bad there's no private messaging on CZcams anymore, but you'd know me. I was an A&P for Jim and Bill in the 80's. I went on to be a 737 and 757 captain for a few airlines. I've now been Chief Pilot for an oil company for almost 13 years. You guys were always fun.
Massive shock tubes make the landing gear take away the bounce problem opens up lot more options for landing shorter been surprised only see a few STOL aircraft use shocks on the landing gear. It's been used in jet aircraft for years

the polished aluminum 195 was here in Kamiah ID this summer. What a beautiful aircraft!
I loved that. Don't really have anything the same over here in the UK. Thanks for sharing..
That's why we all moved here :P My family 320 years ago... haha

Awesome video Robert! Great to see you guys again this summer; hope to do it again in 2015! :)
Tony (right-seater of the 206 @ 1:25)
Great video! Love all the shots you got of the planes! Good stuff!

nice teaching thank you from France
I'm buying a Highlander first of the year 2016 can't wait! All these planes are cool!
How's the Highlander?
Ahh Evan from Off Airport Gear nice to see his trip from another angle I spotted him about 7 times. If you don't already know he released a film on his trip recommend checking it out!
That would be a beautiful Staggerwing Beech, model 17 from around 1933
I would love to do some flying over in the US, what incredible scenery.
I know it has nothing to do with flying but my mom started her teaching career nearly 80 years ago in a one room school house in Crouch.
Amazing scenery and landings.
Beautiful video!! Thanks
awesome video, thanks for sharing
Awesome planes guys, thankyou so much !..............so much of a thrill seeing something you never have before STOL I mean
Love that Staggerwing and Beech 18 near the end of the vid. Also the radial Cessnas

Cool the 140 is quick to takeoff!
Oh yes some very nice Glasair Sportsmen planes, I think they had some kind of a flyin that weekend at Smiley Creek as well as the round engine guys
"My airplane is so pretty! I love my airplane. What a beautiful airplane."
(Polished Twin Beech arrives.)
"My airplane sucks."
Don't worry. We can't all be pretty.
*Great* video!
Great upload...Thanx.....Super STOL WINS...!!
Nice scenery, great company by the looks of things, might have to move to the States:-)
i guess it is kind of randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to watch newly released movies online ?
@Flynn Wells Flixportal :P
@Prince Kristian thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service :) I really appreciate it !!
@Flynn Wells Happy to help :)
Love the huskies
I hear Cory Robin talking in the background...and that is the only footage of his Wilga I've seen.
8:40 - accidentally takes off while leaving the taxiway for the runway. "Oops, got it over 10mph..." ;-)
That's alot of fun!!!
That last aircraft looked like it just escaped past the windsock!!
Why Cessna 195 with radial at end of video didn't used even small flaps ? So long toff run :-( Take look at Aeroprakt Foxbat short take off - without any LE slats.
Nice ♥️ thank you
Also I love the background melodies!!

hey guys, building one of these how much can it cost? its just too beautiful watching them fly on))
I like the red and white one . 😊
Super STOL those big shocks make it bounce proof
great 👍👍👍👍
from Seoul, South Korea
Very fascinating !
Thanks, it was a fun flyin with some great people!
Robert Wood indeed!
Good video
Opps sorry about the PA 11 not sure where I got that info
You can hear @CoryRobin at 3:10. "lets paint a line" Next minute... Stol drags.
9:40 The non-existent Aerodrome Tower gave the instruction to wait before the PA-11 to take-off and its ALMOST inexistent little turbulences... The STOL entered anyway on the turfy runway...

Where is this beautiful place ?
Is that a bearhawk about 7 minutes in? the maroon plane. beautiful color and lots of flaps? I think a bearhawk 4 seater is the airplane for me. "the last airplane you'll ever need"
I have flown those... Great plane for the money
Very Nice air work .. but .?>that blasted music...
Precision Electronics guys? I remember you from Skypark in the 80's. You gave me a ride in your C-120 once.
Yes that's us, big Bro just sold Precision Electronics and is retiring. My Nephew still has a C-140 up in Mountain Green

Super.....
What kind of model is the plane at 13:45 if I may ask?
HI, It's a Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing :)
bearhawks, too!
Massive shock tubes make the landing gear take away the bounce problem opens up lot more options for landing shorter been surprised only see a few STOL aircraft use shocks on the landing gear. It's been used in jet aircraft for years
Why dont they design these with more propellars?
do u know what a pa-11 is
If the cub had leading edge slats, it would be better than the Super STOL.
9:40 you versus the guy she tells you not to worry about
I didn't think PA-11's had flaps.
No stabilator tail either. Not sure what that was.
Talk about landing on a dime o_O
09:14
07:34
14:10
If that really is your gorgeous twin then you need to see this
czcams.com/video/TIJaj9hbpjY/video.html
Capable planes. Would have been nice to hear the natural and plane sounds instead of the stinky music.
