Improved Air Quality: Succulents are natural air purifiers that remove environmental toxins and pollutants. Incorporating these plants into your living spaces can enhance indoor air quality and breathe cleaner, fresher air.
Enhanced Mental Well-being: Tending to succulents can profoundly impact your mental health. Gardening fosters a sense of accomplishment, boosts self-esteem, and provides an outlet for creative expression, all contributing to overall well-being.
Connection with Nature: Cultivating succulents allows you to reconnect with the natural world and appreciate the beauty of plant life. Spending time outdoors, nurturing living organisms, and observing the growth of your succulent garden can instill a deep sense of connection and belonging.
Low Maintenance: Succulents are renowned for their resilience and adaptability, making them ideal plants for novice and experienced gardeners. With minimal watering and care requirements, succulents thrive in various environments, making them a hassle-free addition to any home or garden.
    Tips for Cultivating Positivity Daily:
Practice Gratitude: Start each day by expressing gratitude for the blessings in your life. Whether it's a beautiful sunrise, a supportive friend, or the simple joys of nature, cultivating gratitude can shift your perspective and foster positivity.

Take a few moments each day to sit quietly, focus on your breath, and observe your thoughts without judgment. Mindfulness practices can help reduce stress and promote emotional well-being.

Me too! Gardening with succulents is my sanctuary, my escape from the chaos of everyday life. The simple act of tending to these resilient plants grounds me in the present moment, allowing me to let go of stress and worries. As I gently prune, water, and care for each succulent, I feel so calm and relaxed.

It definitely is beneficial to you mentally. I pace in front of my plants and look them over multiple times a days sometimes. Its a form of meditation for me and i get to see things grow and multiply one plant and leaf into many.

I agree! Discovering succulents during menopause was like finding a tranquil oasis amidst the storm. As my body underwent changes, nurturing these resilient plants became my therapy. The simple act of caring for them grounded me, providing a sense of purpose and beauty in a time of transition. Observing their slow, steady growth mirrored my own journey through the ups and downs of menopause, teaching me patience and resilience. Gardening became more than a hobby; it became a healing sanctuary, offering solace and rejuvenation during a challenging phase of my life.

We all give and receive love in 5 different ways; Words of affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch. These are called “Love Languages”
Gary Chapman is a marriage counselor that wrote the book The 5 Love Languages. Good read!!!

The new book 7 New Love Languages:
Activity, Appreciation, Emotional,Financial, Intellectual, Physical and Practical.
Your video touches on some of these dialects and really helps you see yourself and others …your spouse, children friends and coworkers with a better understanding and what makes them tick. One of my sons was passive aggressive and I had a harder time connecting with him. This book taught me a lot. I started doing 1:1 quality time and when he started high school Mondays and Wednesdays I would take him to the coffee shop before school and have some time to chat and listen. He was an introvert as my other boys were extroverts like me…the more people the better. Prior to reading this book it was causing friction all the time and I was dismissive of my introvert son because I didn’t understand him. I had them all read the book and it helped us all understand each other. You can’t fix what is wrong if you don’t understand. Just thought this was worth the mention.

My garden has definitely been my best therapy… I call it my “garden therapy.” Last week my youngest son had a brain surgery, and my garden has helped both him and me to find peace and remain relaxed and calm. Thank you so much for this video Theresa!💚💚💚💚🌵🪴
