    For the last method, can you make the knot bigger? I need to do it a few times to make the knot big enough to not go through the fabric

      Hi, so this can happen if you have a fabric with a looser weave and/or you are working with a finer thread. You can try using a thicker thread, which will make a larger knot, or just as you are doing, repeat the knot a few times to make it bigger overall. Hope that helps!
