Finally, somebody that sings that final ". . . better left to chance" with the emotion the original needs. Such a small thing, that many will miss, but it really brings it home.
One of my favorite song of all times!
This song , and the song by George Jones “He stopped loving her Today” my favorites , I guess I’m a sucker for sappy songs 🙏
That is talent...
You know it's a great cover when it makes you bawl as much as the original.
Amen
😭 my mom n dad song rest in heaven daddy
Atta boy BK. miss ya buddy
Wow.
I have been a Three Doors Down fan since they started music. Brad was spot on.... great job
Love these guys but him doing this song put this group on the top of my list😎
Voice of an angel
You shur right
Amen
This song has always been my song to my Dad whom passed away 16 years ago and now I found it sung by one of my favorite bands of all time. You guys belong up there with the all time great Garth Brooks
Damn!!! He is very good at sounding like Garth. There's very few rock singers who can adjust their voice, & Brad Arnold just added to that list.
Wow. I hope 3DD actually gets to record that one at some point. They nailed it!
most perfect
You know not very many people can do a good Garth Brooks cover but I think he did a great job with it. Lots of respect for this band, they got me through a lot of stuff in my life and now this awesome cover. Much respect.
Two weeks after this post my son committed suicide. He was 30. When he was 14 we would go skating every Sunday. The Dance was my favorite song. He would ask them to play it and we would skate to it. After his death my memorial song included The Dance.
So sorry to hear this. Stay strong and hang in there.
I'm so sorry
Thank you for sharing this piece of your heart with all of us. I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope that your son found the peace that he so desperately deserved. I hope that you found peace in fond memories such as these. You will see your son again someday. As someone who suffers from depression, I am sending you so much hope and love right now. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I know what a loss of a son is. My son committted suicide 7 years ago. We never had a song so, if it's okay, I'd like to share yours with you. Thank you.
Music is so powerful; and provides great solace when used effectively. I know something of which you speak. My 50 year old brother passed away on the same day as my most beloved 10 year old daughter. They had a combined funeral; and we structured the memorial service around two particular songs for each; and one that was for both. It was a really large service; and the number of people who found it necessary to remark upon the powerful emotion they experienced as the music took them to times and places well associated with our now departed loved ones; was in itself remarkable. People were almost embarassed to say that "I know it is a funeral, but that was great. I found myself reminiscing and really enjoying myself. I knew everyone else was feeling the same way and that made it even more special. Thank you for reminding us there is still cause to celebrate life; and all the Joy, and Suffering that seems to be implicit in that experience." True enough. Good luck to you, and yours. You sound like you were a great Dad.
Takes my breath away.
This is my daughter and my song. I could have missed that night of the end of a dream. My daughter was born 3 mons early. BUT If I missed it and one other thing happend we would have lost us both. Every word to me has a meaning of that night they took her at 27 weeks. She was 2 bls 1 oz. 14 little inch long. After 4 days I got to hold her for the first time at 1 bls 3 oz. I would never have given it up. I could have missed the pain of dealing with the NICU but that would have ment we would have lost her. This Oct she will be 25 years old and she is doing great. I never have a dry eye when this song comes on. That night so long ago I was the QUEEN and we made it.
I am also one of those babies, I am nearly 56 years old.
Outstanding rendition buy an outstanding band. And you did a great job videoing the song thanks for that
Love this. what heartfelt emotion. i hope this winds up on a 3DD cd someday. Garth would be proud!
They did a great job I love this song
Would have been the highlight of one of my life for any band to bust out that song
Best song ever written!!
best song i've ever heard, great work-great lyrics
Awesome video! Have always loved this song and 3 Doors Down!
Jessica Leathers You gotta see Scott McCreery's version at the Opry
Thank you for a quality video!! This band is probably the only that could pull off a Garth cover. Brad is a great writer and singer.
Upchurch could pull it off
I really can't wait to see them again in concert, I've only been able to see one, but I hope before I retire in 2021 I can attend in my dress uniform and they perform this song
Mr. Baylis. Thank you for your service.
Thanks Whitney for keeping the camera still! So many people don't. :)

Whoever is cutting the onions stop it!!!
Me to.
Song hits differently when dealing with the suicide of your Ex. Now tell me how to restart the dance and live over again in slow motion because I was to young to cherish the moments then.
how long has it been?
Hang in there and take it day by day.

I don’t believe this is Ron Howard who played Opie on Andy Griffin show
(It actually IS a rock & roll song disguised as "country".)
Great cover but then 3 DD is just that good .
😥
Not a fan but holy shit that’s good
The way he licks his lips!
Haaaa
Better than luke combe
Who’s got that drunk uncle you can’t take to karaoke night because all he wants to do is butcher tf outta Neon Moon?! Guilty
As good if not better than Garth!
Jeremy Brown I disagree, but I like it.
Nothing better then Garth
Good, but not as good as Garth doing Garth's own favorite Garth song.
Dude so off key the whole time wtf
