Just 2 things that this needs, illuminations near the EQ and Filter on the mixer, and also at the top the buttons either side of the display. The buttons either side of the display are small and close together, they really need a LED under the buttons. I dont know if this was rectified on the MKII. These areas are impossible to see if your booth is dark.

I am using 2 decks channel 1 and 2 only. So when i load a song on channel 1, i cant prelisten in my headphones to the track on channel 2.I am only having problem in Serato Dj only. When using the controler for Virtual Dj 8 everything works fine.Help please

The Filter roll is idea is OK but the actual function is 'hairy' to use. The reason is because of the track the continues to play while your using the feature so when you finish your filter roll and come out of it you have to be really careful as when you come out of the feature you re-enter the track at a different point so there is a huge risk of re-entry sounding like a really messy needle nudge/drop. If the track stayed from where you entered with the roll then when you come out of the roll there would be seamless entry back into the track. Or is it just me again?

When I press the headphone button indicated under the filter knob, it doesn't appear to only go to my headphones like I feel it is supposed to do. For example: when I press that button on channel 3 I want to only be able to hear it through my headphones and not the main mixer output. I have the headphones plugged in to the headphone jack at the bottom as I feel it should be, but like I have said, any help is greatly appreciated.

Try holding shift and pressing the "Range" button, which is to the left of each display depending on which deck you are on. I think that locks the key so you can change the tempo instead with the slider.
Why did you spoil the look of the great controller with those ugly massive SYNC PLAY and CUE labels? If you think it is not important to make controller also stylish and good looking then think twice. The Mixtrack 3 also have them and it is the only unprofessionally looking thing that spoils it. Nice stylish pads and everything and then those ugly big oversized labels shouting like on toys for toddlers.

Yes, true. Doesn't matter if the slip button is on or off, filterroll will not keep the track from playing in the backround.

I am using serato as well
make sure the headphone button is pressed on the correct corresponding channel and that the gain slider is all the way down
I wish the detailed view showed the beatgrid of the playing track...

The specs are on seratos website. I can run my ns7111 with half the specs, but it reacts funny sometimes.

What does slip do?
Slip mode allows you to scratch or hit hot cues while the song will continue to play.
