I would definitely buy this controller if there would be inputs for additional CDPlayers so you could use it as a standalone mixer.

When DJing live with the numarknv2 how can you disable the W button BACK to the spabebar instead (to PLAY)? Notice that when disconnected from controller and just on laptop the spacebar button to pause/play tracks works but once it's on live mode (with DJ controller connected) it then switches over back to the W button. Is there any way to fix this or is this standard? Newbie here lol

Dj shortee I’m still using a mix track platinum! In the market for a new controller but I’m not sure what to buy.. ns6ii or ns7iii? I do scratch ! But more of a mix dj? Any insight would be great

I just recently bought this controller.. I love the look and feel of this controller a lot. However, I'm having some issues with the sound. When I start using multiple effects and so forth, I start getting a crackling noise in the background of the whole sound of the system. I think its causing my computer to have USB buffer issues. I don't know why it's having this because I have a pretty new mac ( 2014 macbook pro ). DO you think I may have gotten a bad controller out of the batch?

Hi. On 10:25 I see the waveform on screen moving slow, how to do that? I search all buttons on controller and try all setings on serato but I cand make the waveform like in your video 10:25.

I bought the NS7lll when it came out and i like it but im a virtual dj guy and to do the update its sucks u guys need to think of that not all the dj at there whants to use serato dj ..make and easy update for virtual dj guys..and everyone is happy..thank you ...
i use virtual dj pro also...i feel like i am on a island alone cause all my dj friends use serato...lol but i have been loyal to virtual dj and i will stick with what i know and love.. they need to knowledge us!!! #djtimdogg
I have a problem with this Numark nvii like the RCA right channel for both the master and booth are mute(no sound/audio).., tried different rca cables and nothing worked out.. Could there be anyone who may help me with the solution to this..for the headphone, it's working perfectly..i can't really figure what could be the issue with outputs? haven't tried with balanced XRL though
I do like the nvii. But the ns7ii with a display is just the best...bar getting an ns7iii
We need a controller with connected screens running along the top so we can see both waveforms together. It would also be great if we can get rid of the laptop altogether; install Serato onto the controller and add an HDMI to the controller. Basically, build a computer inside of the controller.

Please please release a nv3 with bigger jog wheels, and take on the pioneer ddj 800. I always love my Numark products.. You guys bring out quality kit at a good price.. Time after time.. Please nv3 things bigger jogs even another inch will boost sales... I guarantee. 👍
got my nvii used and there is a shiny gold skin on it ! oh lord why why why :) ah well the things still very nice very fun to use !

Any way of adjusting the strip search speed? It has slow and slow again even with the shift key pressed, no difference.

Nice controller! However should of made it where you can hook up turntables or CD players for DVS and use as stand alone mixer. Would be a nice alternative for those that want a smaller controller compared to the Denon 8000. Kinda like the Pioneer DDJ RR that was recently announced.
Hey Paul Powe Jr i totally agree with your comment. Because i am really interested in the pioneer DDJ RR but i need to know something. Can the DDJ RR use serato dj? Do you know anything about it? I am a serato user n i just don't like Record box. i HAVE USED IT ALREADY
No, the DDJ-RR cannot be used for Serato DJ, only Rekordbox.
+M-STYLE HAYNES Been using Serato for a long time. I have both a NS6 and a DDJ-SX. Rekordbox still needs a lot of work. Every time I use Rekordbox it cranks the fan on my MacBook Pro to the max. Where Serato, Traktor and Virtual DJ performs a lot better. I wish the Rekordbox series controller would work with Serato personally. Hopefully Pioneer will continue partnership with Serato.

Hey Love! I have the nvii too but its not showing my gridlines on the screens, is that a firmware thing or is there a setting somewhere?
i'm very happy with the NV 1, this upgrade make me even more happy, because i'm not NV'ing this version ! :p all this should be available on software upgrade.

I would love if they had used the mcx8000 as their footprint in a scaled down version add RCA inputs for CD/Turntable, usb slots for thumb drives,master XLR outputs, the engine software, replaceable crossfader and DVS standalone functionality then people would buy it I would even for $850.
I bought this controller, don't get me wrong, it's a great deck. But the fact I couldn't have a iPad and microphone on at the same time is unbelievable. I sent it back asap.
if the nv2 was about the size of the ns6 i would consider it.. but i am in love with my ns6..it's seamless..i really want to give the nv2 a shot....btw i use virtual dj pro...so i am on the fence...#djtimdogg
tim bayard u can use VDJ with this controller. Using VDJ 8 but with version 7s screen that had all the mappers pre made or u can custom it.
Still missing DIGITAL SAMPLER from the original NUMARK PPD SERIES MIXERS and the most important is the STRIP SEARCH which is lacking and it SHOULD BE SOFT TOUCH SCREEN for fast instead of the press button, press button ,press button all the time
just saying they had a good thing with the d2 director, they should have a "dumbed down" version without all the bells.
Make a NV NS6 size...

not convinced sorry, I own a Numark NV 1 and mostly of the features announced for NV 2 , could be easily a firmware upgrade for NV 1, really disappointed
But look at all of the nice graphic accents that they added!!

I guess my sarcasm wasn't obvious enough lol. It certainly doesn't have enough new features to warrant an upgrade for me either. I was really hoping for a bump up from the 16 bit rate to 24 but I guess not.

@@bread8923 Actually yes you do. It won't even start unless connected to software. It will just sit idle otherwise and do a neat light show. The only way to get song data in to it is through a computer and software.
Thanks a lot but in an in-depth overview like this I prefer not having music/noise in the background. Made it really hard to focus. Good video otherwise.
Way too much complexity. Still waiting for NuMark to come out with a controller with D2 Director functionality. Our DJs can beat mix, don't need a laptop and search music with keyboard for BPM, Title, artist etc. These units are maybe good for house DJs but for the standard mobile wedding DJ, too complex. How many DJs can remember/use all of the functionality?
The functionality is optional; you don't have to use it. Just use whatever functionality that suits your playing style.
i agree!! i am a mobile dj, wedding dj, and it's just too much.. if i was doing a concert that needed a drum machine to enhance what i was doing then cool but why can't they just keep it simple like the numark ns6 controller is...
