In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. I dont know how the youtube algorithm brought me to your channel, because i've never watched a scrap/picker video before. With that said, this channel has become one of my absolute favorites over the last six months or so. The commentary is straight up gold, reminds me of a old friend I worked with ages ago.
Agreed lol, I have no idea how this ended up in front of me but I've been following for about 6 months now, Mike is hilarious and loves what he does . Even have my 4yr old sitting with me following along. She loves all the little noise he makes and all the voices he does lol.

Can't believe the brand new things people throw out. That fan was quite the find! Also it looks like those trapeze lifts for patients go anywhere from $100 to 180. Good finds!

It is cheaper to chuck it out then keep it in inventory.
Those ski poles were aluminium (spelt the correct way). Plastic would snap in the cold
Graphite won't.
That big blue fan is beautiful, in an industrial-chic way. If you can't sell it you can make it into a super fine $$$$ coffee table. I watch your scavenging every day for finds like this and your joy of the hunt. ;D

My brother is an electrician, he brought two big fans off a job. We built big boxes to mount the fans in, then we put casters on them and wire over the open sides. We could roll them around to where we were working. They not only blow great, but the bugs can’t even land on you. Watching from Panama City Florida, USA. 🇺🇸🦅

Filing cabinets make excellent barbecue smokers bottom tray for the coals, middle tray for the right above the coals you can put the wood chips drill a couple of holes, the other drawers you can put racks for meat !

I got one of those fans once the guy told me it was off a industrial refrigeration unit. I needed special sockets to get the motor seperated off the fan blades
Mike the big fan you can sell as big intake or exhaust fan for commercial use or large garage or machine shed depending on the voltage. The 2 drawer filing cabinet on wheels you can use in your garage for power tools.

Mike, that long piece you found at 17:12 is part of a ups.(uninterrupted power supply) the batteries you found shortly thereafter usually fit in that sleeve. I found one in an office open top a couple months ago. It had 80lbs of batteries in it.
Mike the fan is called in industrial fan that’s the one that sits in the wall of the arm shed to keep it cool it just hasn’t got the other side or if not it’s in the box underneath the plastic

The Christmas lights were wrapped around sticks to keep them from getting all tangled up. Holy ironies, Batman. They were nice and neat for the dumpster. Go figure.

Long time scrapper here gotta say I have never seen fiberglass ski poles only aluminum so might want to make sure next time.

That fan is for the flux warp capacitor drive it helps keep it cool
Mike get a crab pot puller and mount on the side of the bed on your truck! even a manual crank one would save your back!!!!!!

You should grab all those spray paint cans. They make great range targets and once you blow holes in them you can scrap em!
You should install that blue fan in your garage. That thing will move some air! Look at the pitch on those blades!

I think that hook thing is what they use to lift manhole covers but it could just as easily lift scraps out of a dumpster
