- Hope you're all having a fantastic autumn so far: here's a little video / vlog of all of my favourite spots to visit in Edinburgh during this season! Indie pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin cake included, plus a hidden garden full of tiny birds and a bonus young hairy coo!
Might be helpful for anyone looking for a special lil' seasonal treat from one of our amazing independent coffee shops or bakeries, or at least give you some insight into when the trees start turning - this video has been shot over the weekend of Sept 30th/Oct 1st!

You and your husband are one of the cutest couples on this platform. I enjoy your videos immensely and am using them as part of my research for my Edinburgh trip for my 40th. Thank you so much for making such amazing videos and letting me live my Scottish dreams through you both until I get to see it for myself.
Awwww! That is so sweet of you to say! And so glad to hear you find the videos helpful - I'm sure you'll have the best of times when you make it to Scotland .)
I love watching your videos, sometimes I don't have the time to watch the moment the notification comes but saving them for when I'm not drowning in work feels like having a treat.
I was wondering if you would consider making a video about bookstores, I love reading and would love to see how bookstores look like over there ☺️
Been watching your lovely videos for the past month and big thank you for all the wonderful videos and information provided as I'm going to visit Edinburgh by the end of November. I'm getting very excited and of course nervous😅. Hope I'm able to get my homework done in time and get well prepared before I arrive.
Hi Kakibot, thank you for your videos. They are amazing and informative. My family and I will be in Edinburgh next week and we hope the leaves would have turned by then. We love autumn. Hope the rain keeps away.
Actually, it’s a great place❤ always waiting for your vedios.
I actually was looking for Riddle’s gravestone for quite a while but then there was a tour group and I juist followed
them and that was where they were going and it worked out for me 👍
Autumn is my goal for a trip. Looks beautiful.
You are my 'go-to' for the coolest and latest Edinburgh info. (& occasional visits to others places you provide). As a CDN of Scottish decent I loooove visiting Scotland. Love your vids KakIbot... and Simon too!
Love the way you show the city in those scenical shots 👏👏
Thank you for the inspo!!! I always love your recommendations- many of my fave spots have been discovered because of you 🥰🥰
loved this vid! Heading to Edinburgh this Thursday, can't wait. Thank you for the tips, noted them ❤
lots of love from The Netherlands ~!!
I'm headed to Edinburgh from Texas this weekend and your videos have been so informative and fun! Thank you! ^_^
you had beautiful weather, hope i get this lucky in a week!!
I love your videos! Thank you for taking us on an Autumnal tour of Edinburgh. Everything is so picturesque. I can't wait to visit in the near future.
I adore your sweater outfits and your overall style! Especially your blue pumpkin sweater😃 I get excited seeing all your super cute outfits with your sweaters, cute coats or jacket with your pin collection and just the overall practical and cute outfits you wear as you take us around Edinburgh
( We are currently in a 90°F hot weather here in Southern California in October. ..so I am dreaming of wearing all the cute sweaters😅)
Also, so cute your bear plush from Vermont made a cameo!
Thank you for this video! I'm trying to have a perfect last autumnal weekend before I move to London . Ohh i will miss this city so much
Aw 😢 I hope London treats you well! Good luck with the move! ❤️
The trees and landscape are so pretty!
Edinburgh thanks you for the compliment! .) (And I thank you for the superthanks!)
Edinburgh is so beautiful, I miss the city so much 😔
I love your channel so much, can't wait to visit early November!
Very beautiful, amazing!
Ahh perfect shots. Thanks
Your videos make me happy.❤
Really enjoying your videos! Just found your account today, and am planning to go to Edinburgh for the first time :) And this really helped to give ideas of where to go and what to see (especially because I love anything to do with fall). :)
Your videos act like a bubble of peace and joy for me, even serenity. I really love this city, maybe I will live there one day.
And I really really like your clothes ! Where did you get them ?
❤❤ woooooow 😮
I just love your videos: Vibe, music, recommendations…just so inspiring and calming. I love Edinburgh, you make me wanting to come back right now. Greetings from Germany.☺️
Beautiful Video 🍂
I had NEVER heard of the Edinburgh Kyoto Friendship Garden before! Might have to go this weekend or next! I just live in Merchiston area of Edinburgh.
Lauriston Castle is in Davidson’s Mains. Near Silverknowes. The gardens are beautiful.
These little kiosks that are scattered around Edinburgh selling coffee and other food stuff used to be police boxes
Beautiful, well-made video
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
I am going to be in Edinburgh mid November and it would be a pleasure to meet you in person 😊
Just had the most amazing hot chocolate float (I got dark chocolate but they let you pick any flavor of ice-cream) at Mary's Milk bar the other day. Kept my hands warm as I wandered around Grassmarket.
Will need to try that soon!! Perhaps a video just about hot chocolate? That has been a dream of mine for ages!
That sounds perfect for our rainy autumn 😂
I’ll be there in a couple weeks for Halloween weekend! 🎃 Anything special you’d recommend to do? I adore your videos by the way 🙂🙂
Princes STREET Gardens! 😜 Otherwise, great video!
I see the International Japanese influence here now with the autumn themes and cute fall inspired stuff and I think it is more so now than in the past like in Europe, even here in the tropics people now mind the changing seasons of the north due to more people going to northern countries like Japan and Korea which make a great deal about the changing seasons, that and international brands like Starbucks that bring the spirit of the changing seasons here in the sweltering south. Too bad the maples and sweetgums in my garden will never turn fiery autumn colors and are virtually evergreen.
Another great video :)
Finally you made it to Lauriston castle! There used to be a very nice cafe on Silverknowes beach, is it closed now?
We will be in Edinburgh soon, and your videos are so beneficial. So looking forward to being there. Thank you! Where again are your goods sold?
It's the Scottish Design Exchange on George Street .)
I made my trip to Edinburgh and got LOST in the TARDIS..on the outside it looks like the National Museum of Scotland.
❤❤❤😊😊😊Thank you 😊
Nice Junji Itto books :)
Well spotted! Still getting nightmares from these to this day 😅
❤😊
3:22 Where on earth did you find that jumper?!? It’s beautiful!! 😍🥹
Thank you! .) It's from Princess Highway, an Australian brand that ships over to the UK too .)
End of September is Autumn !
Did you mention the Royal Botanic Gardens, or did I miss it?
I did indeed! .)
My husband and I are thinking of going next year in fall. When would be the best time?
September is a really good month to visit - but if you’d like to see some of the autumn foliage, first week of October might be a better choice!
Do people put out pumpkins and carve jack o lanterns in Scotland? Are actual pumpkins easy to source?
I see people decorate with uncarved pumpkins more commonly, but I guess it would be a bit too early for a proper jack-o-lantern now! It's not something you see super often in the city centre, but I imagine in the outskirts, where families with kids live, you'd spot some!
Believe it or not they used to carve turnips traditionally. It was very hard work! Pumpkins are an American invention.
Hello beautiful girl and wenderful people and nice contry
