Birds really love to take a bath. I have 8 budgies and all of them take bath happily.☺️🥰
I usually keep my cage outside. Once it started to rain, the birds were under the shade but water started splashing all over them, i went out to move the cage but it was so cool to see that all of them were hanging on the wall and even jumping in their water bowl, it was so cute! I let then stay for a while but moved them away later
It reminds me of my sparrow's first water bath💖. I gave her water on a plate and she started splashing water all over the place 😆 🐥🐥🐥

GO Sam You could spray them with water or put their cage under the shower. Just make sure the water isn't too cold or too hot.

I had a budgie named Rio and I basically got her for this last Christmas and she loved taking baths but sometime in January she got very ill and I woke up to her stiff.

I had two and I was at work and my husband called me and told me they both had passed away at the same time I'm guessing one of them died and the other one heart broke and it died with it so now they are at home in the back yard buried in together. He loved her so much rip in my heart forever 💔💙💚💛

Thanks for this video. Today, I've tried to bath them. I put a bowl with water, I wet my fingers and I splashed them. It was funny, they liked it. It was like a mini bath, then one of my budgies start bathing in the water dispenser😊. It's a little step forward!!

my first bird loved taking bathes...in my wine glasses. I'd have a glass of water and he'd try to bathe in it I loved him very much, he also took bathes in my hands and loved the color green.

I got the exact same budgie water fountain because of your videos. My budgie didn't like to go in at first but after four days of little forcing he started to take bath every day. Now as soon as I take him near the fountain, he just jumps into it and take a bath. It's the best thing to watch them play in the water. Thank you for your vids, I don't believe in giving bath to animals instead I prefer them doing it their own way and water fountain is the most fun way.
One tip for anyone who forced your bird for first few days like I did. In the way this person said forcing will get your budgie sick which is very true. I said little force meaning I just try to put my bird into the thing. I didn't force my budgie to take bath so there is a difference. It turns out my budgie loves the water but it was scared of fountain. All I had to do was somehow put him into the fountain and then he would take a bath by himself. Not all budgie will react that way. Try day one of your budgie jumps out then let it go try another day then another keep trying for few days and then maybe your budgie will stop being scared and jump into the fountain like mine does. Good luck.
My budgie was like Biscuit & he lived almost 13 years!

@@haku9322 Well, he was very good take care of, well loved, free to fly around, ate a lot of fruits & veggies, fine ground sand, although most of his life time was spent into the kitchen, but no smokers around, that was very important & no stress! ... He was coming on our hands & arms, head, shoulders, wherever he wanted to fly he flew, he gave us kisses & we kissed him back, he chirped or sang into our ears & even he loved to do his breeding thing on out heads or hands, he even ate salt once in a while when flew on the table while we were eating or my mother would prepare a meal, he come for veggies and there was the salt, he took some grains of it too & nothing happened to him! .. He never was sick or something, only at his last dying weeks from oldness ... started to get more & more inactive and kind paralyzed, barely couldn't sit on the perches and eventually he felt off in one night and died!

Hi Alan ... somewhere I wrote that Biscuit has a fear of rejection because when he was really young, Cookie rejected him because his mirror was more important to him than his new friend Biscuit. So now I think poor little Biscuit has these fears to connect with the other birds. It takes a lot of patience to deal with him now but I think he needs to be treated special for a while. You are doing a great job with these little guys! I just wanted to point that out to you. It's not always easy having birds. They are like young children sometimes and pretty sensitive too. Thank you for your time making these videos. God bless

You can see the makers/name ON the bath, it says "HOMMII""...If no luck get a Clean NEW water mister/spray for plants, use Clean water and "mist" spray over your birds ONLY in the morning so they can dry before sleeping, keep the Spray/mister Completely-Separate, use Only for the birds, good luck 🐤👍
It is a cat water fountain by the brand Hommii, I’ve seen similar ones by the brand Catit at my local pet store. Hope this helps!
Ever since getting my two budgies last summer , I took bathed them by pouring small water on them and they actually seem to love it. They puff up their feathers and groom themselves

yes my sister and i are battling with two very beloved and scared budgies. You can see them on my channel ;)

That bird bath is a brilliant piece of kit! My budgie used to bathe *but* refuses to nowadays so I use a spray gun with lukewarm water, he doesn't seem to mind too much as I made the routine into a little game. Keeps him fresh and looking good anyway!

I usually just fill a small cup of water and slowly pour it so they hop around in the water, kinda gives em a waterfall feel. Don’t use purified water though, only tap :D

Galactic Brownie they get nasty blood feathers and you have to pull them up every once in a while it's really hard to watch ur budgie in pain especially when you have a strong bond with it sooooo get ready for that
It's not animal cruelty even though they would be better off.
A well loved budgie can be just as happy!

For your future birds best interest, write down your main questions and get answers to them before you get a bird. That way you are more confident and can be a better bird owner. It is a lot of responsibility, and they need you for everything. I hope you enjoy constant sound and feathers everywhere!

My sisters budgie LOVED water - you would only have to turn on a tap and she would come flying out of nowhere, land on your arm and run down to the water! It was really cute but sometimes it got kind of annoying when you were trying to wash dishes! We also found her floating on top of the fish tank a few times so we had to be careful she didn't end up drowning!

I have a couple water dishes and one of them is made from a cleaned out yogurt cup. They like to take dips in it.
I don't know if my pair would take to this. Use to enjoy a bath but he not been in one for months. I turned to using warm water mist from the spray bottle. They love it, get so excited that one goes into the water feeder bowl hahaha!!

so lovely! i have one budgie who LOOOOVES to be sprayed down with a sprayer.. my second one is afraid of the sprayer and so i have been considering one of these fountains to try and encourage bathing and jsut plain budgie happy fun! .. Just bought the same brand on you have here after scrolling through reviews of all the various knock off varieties.. seems that this one is the quietest and most reliable. hope the birdies like it!
