I love watching Malayalam movies, it hits right to the core like Thottapan etc. I have to say that I appreciate much the Malayalam film industry for showcasing and producing worth-watching movies, in which it had attracted audiences to explore what's beyond Kerala. Every movies depict a story of different persona, good choice of storylines and actors are in rational exposing characters that's relatable. Haist!

The movie escalated quickly..damn... Could've easily been shown as a gore horror film.. like..a serial killer movie.. instead we got a dark feel good..but honestly I do think about alternate ways where he murders them all...such a strong psychopath character

In malayalam Movies like this the characters are so real. Not polished, six packs and beautified. Bollywood seems so mediocre in comparison.
Bollywood will have the the four boys, the boatmen, the hero and even fishermen with six packs. That’s the only talking point will be in their movies. God I used to love watching Bollywood movies but now that’s the last. My preference goes to the brilliant directors movies from Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu movies.

I started with Helen & then watched Kapple, Kumbalangi in a row. 3 movies 3 different stories & I'm loving it. Wish I could understand the language soon . For a long time Masaan(Hindi Film) was my absolute favorite of all the movies. Kumbalangi Nights gave me the same feeling that I had while watching Masaan. It was purely magical.
What a way to break so many taboos with such crisp display of emotions. Kumbalangi Nights has set a new bar for Indian Cinema which is going to be very difficult to raise.
Vicky Kaushal should have won beat actor for that year!! They robbed him of that title.

Wish someone can dub this movie in telugu and tamil.., since elders are comfortable in watching a movie with no subtitles... They don't have the patience to.. Wish all the malayalam movie to get dubbed in tamil, telugu, kannada and hindi... I insisted on tamil and telugu since my relatives speak those languages... Felt very bad when I recommended some of the good movies in English and malayalam to my parents.., but they couldn't watch them bcos of the language barrier... Wish someone dubbs all malayalam movies..
