Jeri Ellsworth is just the best. Hope you take her up on the office tour offer and take a camera with you!
Absolutely!
She is truly an amazing person. Self taught in everything electronic, including chip design! She had made a C64 single board computer called "C64DTV" years ago built into a joystick housing (sold as a commercial project) and even had started an Amiga-on-a-chip project but it was canceled. She is now working on augmented reality and has some very cool stuff for that. She has her own CZcams channel which I highly recommend: www.youtube.com/@jeriellsworth

Been following her for years. She's got a great passion, and proven with results/products.
@@RetroHackShack Aron take a look to the "BBC Micro Buggy" chapter/time in the description.. should be 10:25 I think....
Jeri Ellsworth totally ROCK's 😎
Jeri and the Mac Librarian are excellent people! Looks like a fantastic event.
So pissed I missed this event. Totally forgot about it. I built my first computer in the early 80's. It was a Xerox 820 CPM machine with 8" drives built from scrap parts I found at flea markets and electronic surplus stores. Great memories.
Wow. That's awesome!
Hey Aaron, this is Mike (PETpix guy), it was great talking with you at VCF West! Great video.
That was an amazing contraption you put together there!! I absolutely loved it!
Great to meet you. Loved you projects!
Thanks for the great video, I had the chance of chatting with you for a while, great to meet you!
Yes. I remember. Nice to meet you!
Those were my Macs! I’m so glad everyone had fun with them! 😊
Thanks for bringing them!
Of course! What’s the point of collecting if you can’t share it with others‽ 😊
Thanks for the interview !!
That Matt Berry I.T. Crowd shirt is sick!
Nice Atari T-Shirt.
great show arron !! so interesting...wish i could have gone!
Thanks
Seeing pets all the time makes me want one even more 😢 I love its design .I been recently looking into the sharp mz700 a interesting computer I only found out about recently when finding a tape for it . I actually used one of those buggies in school or something similar :) .
Same
The s100 bus computers are so fascinating.
Jeri Ellsworth is seriously impressive too. That's one smart engineer.
Jeri Ellsworth
@@BillAnt oops. Thanks!
Jeri has brains and looks - a rare combination. 😍
Great video! Thanks for covering this event! I live in a suburb of Denver, Colorado, and I would love to go to VCF West and also visit The Computer History Museum! I’m currently reading through Steve Jobs biography for the second time.
Would recommend Fire In The Valley and Hackers if you haven't read them already.
@@RetroHackShack OK, thanks!
Absolutely first rate video! I really enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you very much!
Thanks!
"Made with discrete logic...," Amiga wants a word.
Ha ha. I was thinking older than that 😀
Like your windblown look. You could start off a new hair fashion trend.
Nice easter egg on the video duration 🙂
I had no idea. LOL
Hey! Jeri's there, I'm a big fan. Say hi for me plz, tq❤
Yeah. The best thing is she really is a nerd at heart so it's easy to get geeky and learn from her as well.
I’m a fan too…
I missed seeing you there, I was on Friday. So much fun 🎉🎉
I watched Jeri's videos all the time way back.
My favs were when she talked about Pinball stuff since that is what I do is repair them for a job. :)
Not sure if you have ever made it to Portland Retro Gaming Expo I have been going for many years now and love it for so exclusive it is for all types of video games from the arcade uprights to pinball and many old consoles as well.
I also volunteer each year to keep the arcade running it keeps me busy and I do not get to check out very many booths but I do say hello to friends every year.
It is a gaming expo that I always hear a lot of people say they loved the expo and want to come back next year.
A nice video and was nice to see Jeri and what she is up to as I have been busy and not kept up with what she has been doing all be it I am busy myself and I need to get my pinball machine done. xD
And video lenght is 15:41... 😏
Ha. I didn't notice that.
Poor 1571s and 1581s never get this type of synchronicity. 😔
Great video, I wish it had been an hour.
sorry I had to mess your code, says the Lord
you were acting nasty
*Are there any companies that sell C64 powersupplies that are safe to use?*
Yeah. If I remember correctly, they are about $50 - $70 or so.
The channel F absolutely is not techinically superior to the 2600. The 2600 graphics and sounds chips are far more flexible.
