I kept thinking throughout this video who’s heart have I broken or hurt, only to realize that I probably have hurt my mother. The way I talk to her, the way I take her for granted. We often don’t realize that the ones we hurt the most are the ones we also love the most. May Allah forgive all of our sins and may he have mercy on us.

Heart break is a topic very rarely addressed in the Islamic perspective. So glad that finally it's been dealt with. So many broken hearts in the world and so many people breaking hearts so glad you are speaking to both groups.Even fewer people talk about the people who break hearts. Breaking the heart has become the norm theses days..😢 A heart break is sooo hard.
I agree, heart breaker sometimes get off so easily while the broken hearted get blamed.
We give people the power to break our hearts in the first place ....and we break our own daily...we I'll be held accountable and those that did it with the intent to hurt....nothing is forgotten or overlooked by the best of judges....pray for those that break your heart....there is a healing in that. Maybe heartbreakers aren't discussed because we know God resides in the heart of every human/creation......so when we break our own hearts or someone else's we're displeasing Allah.....
Noone can break our heart....they need our permission.

We may have unknowingly and knowingly broken others hearts and still live in hope to be forgiven....believers need not be victims....for shaytaan played that card with God in response to not bowing at the command of God and look at where that has got him.... Us being merciful to humanity especially the ones that seem to hurt us is basically us showing the blessing of God's mercy

I'm so sorry. I lost my sister this morning due to it as well. I feel so sad, she had so many things more she wanted to do in her life. I wanted to also have her in my life into old age. But Allah's world and decisions are Perfect. There is a reason for it for me and family at this time, and the same for your father and your family.

i'm dated a non-muslim guy and we ended our relationship because we know can't be together. i'll never leave islam and he'll never leave his religion. he's kind, never hurt me, and always protect me. it's hurt, but it's wrong too because it's a haram relationship. now i decide to heal. may Allah forgive me for sins that i make. aamiin.
Same happened to me, had break up just yesterday, she is agnostic and i'm muslim. I am badly hurt. Still I hope she returns to me and accepts Islam. Allah knows if this can come into reality

Do the 5 daily prayers and connect more with Allah swt and do voluntary prayers at night. Ask Allah swt to put peace and calm in your heart and help you. Make a lot of du'a, it really works. Focus on the positive, be grateful and be very patient. Your life will change for the better.

Allah (swt) has guided me to this video right now. May Allah have mercy on me, on all of the ummah. I did not know about this hadith qudsi that Allah (swt) is with us when we are broken hearted but I should. He is always with us, it is us who are not always with him. To know of the angels are around me and saying amin to my dua'at, this made me cry. I am humbled and feel so undeserving of this. I am in a very terrible divorce, near to the end insha'Allah and I have said things that I am not proud of to defend myself, astaghfirAllah. Assalaamu alaykoum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakkatuh you are not undeserving you are created by Allah to be unique in your way I 'am going to a divorce either the court hearing is next month and I'am thankful to Allah that the Almighty relieved me from that person after 29 years of marriage every experiences has a wake up call and moments of learning to move on Alhamdoulillah Allah opened my heart and eyes to see what went wrong now my path starts over whit a new phase of a beautiful beginning of healing and I love every bit of it because you have to go through this wave I say nothing in life is for eternity it's temporary when we have tawakkul in Allah we don't have to worry any more we keep our self's optimistic and move on and look for to fulfill our character and imaan be closer to achieve and earn the love and ridaa of the Al-wadoud it will Heal the heart just believe in the might of Allah and Always be positive and confident 👍🏻:)

Your words of support and encouragement help me to remain hopeful, to maintain my iman and that in this dunya, for every experience we pass though, it is written.
I remained married for 15 years and knew very soon aftewards, the person was not who he portrayed himself as. I tried hard to make it work, I gave more than was given in return and have no regrets for that as I did this for Allah.
What I regret most is my conduct towards him most recently. When someone is doing bad things, saying bad and hurtful things to you, it is very hard to not react but that is unacceptable behaviour. I should have remained quiet or divorced sooner maybe some friends tell me.
This was written for me and I am learning from my wrong doing. It is harder to forgive ourselves than to forgive others. In my darkest moments, I never doubted my iman and yet I felt so alone. I prayed to be released from this emotional abuse and felt I will break if I don't have the courage to proceed with divorce. After hearing Mufti Menk's khutbah today, I randomly opened the qur'an and my eyes fell upon the verse where Allah (swt) assures us in surah al baqarah that He will never give us a burden heavier than we can carry. This was not a coincidence and I firmly believe is Allah's way of assuring me to be patient, to hold firmly onto my iman and become a better muslima for not only my own sake, but for those around me.

Alhumdulila though this made me get closer to Allah, doing my 5 times prayers and finding out from Allah she was not the right one for me. After time this hurtful feeling diminished and I feel has made me wiser. Don't donate your heart to temporary things in this dunya.

I was also in a haram relationship. He betrayed me and now he is very happy...I have realised that I was unjust to myself and my Deen and Allah...but I'm not able to recover after 1 year...that person cheated on me so badly and I pray that such a thing never happens to anyone ever...but I still cry everyday with no relief and the person who betrayed me is so happy after knowing that he hurt me and tells people false stories about me...he said it to my face that you're not worth it. I stayed quiet and cried and begged him not to leave. I know I had made mistakes and argued with him but I never broke his heart and leave him because love is more important than giving him punishment and leave him...but still I have not got my justice but I believe in Allah and repent every second...but things are not getting better for me and he is totally happy...please pray for me my dear Muslim family...

Actually im in a similar situation as yours but as for me, instead of him cheating on me, my ex mentally tortured me without me realizing it due to me being so blinded by love and after long, i just realized that he manipulated his words a lot of time that I fell for it too much that it made me suffer, until to this very moment, even after he left me hanging... its very hard for me right now and for the past few months when i was with him.. it broke my heart a lot when he gave up on me and cursed me out on the day we fought because i sincerely love him very much and i sacrificed a lot of things for him... im still trying my best to repent for all of the sins that ive comitted when i was with him and trying my best to go back to ALLAH S.W.T... I know its not easy, my dear Sister because we loved our fellow partners truly and sincerely but maybe ALLAH S.W.T is trying to tell us that they might not be worth it for our future. He might have better plans for us and for all of these heartbreaks, i believe sooner or later, He will replace these with an enormous and endless amount of happiness until the day of akhirah ❤ i cant deny that all of the happy memories that you had with him will always linger around your mind and somehow those memories and also his bad actions towards you will kill you from the inside from time to time but, its okay to feel that way and for you to cry. It shows that you really love him sincerely and its hard to find someone who could love someone so sincerely without hoping any benefits from it these days ❤ But always, find ALLAH S.W.T no matter in what circumstances u are in... Honestly, im not a good person myself but im trying my best to train myself to set ALLAH S.W.T. as my priority in any situation that i am in bcs after all of these incidents, i finally actually realize that, only the love that i have towards ALLAH S.W T that wont disappoint me.. its really challenging for me rn but may ALLAH S.W.T grant me hidayah and taufeeq constantly so i can be istiqamah in becoming a better servant for Him, In Shaa ALLAH.. and may ALLAH S.W.T grant the same dua for you too ❤ your situation, its definitely tough Sister but i believe, you're much tougher than the situation you're going through ❤ May ALLAH S.W.T always grant you peace and ease in your sufferings 💕💕💕 and always remember that ALLAH loves you ❤
I have been heartbroken from a love I thought that was going to last. A person i wanted to marry. He broke my heart in so many ways. And i have been lost and hurt for the past 8 months. I got into an accident then where I might’ve almost die.
I recently have tried praying 5 times a day, try to do tahajjud evernight. It has given me some sort of comfort and peace.
Although i miss my ex, as he was my bestfriend and the one who was always there for me, i have been struggling to adjust to a life without him.
Speaking to Allah, asking to reunite the love of my life again with me. The more i pray to more i feel like i am closer to Allah more than ever and maybe that breakup and accident happened for a reason. I feel much more comfort and less lonely knowing that Allah is here with me. Allah gave me another chance to live so i can turn to him. Alhamdulillah.

Your story similar to my son, he even survived accident, it nearly destroyed my beautiful son with a brilliant mind and sensitive soul, this sort of love not supposed to last forever but young people don't understand that.. Real love is peace.

i just got into the same situation, i had to leave my beloved after my health and family got in danger, i know he is not a bad person and i will pray every single day for him to be forgiven, protected, guided, and to be safe and become the best version of himself for the sake of Allah swt. No matter how much I am crying and dying inside, I won’t run away from Allah, I will hold on and put all my trust in Him, for he is the all-Knowing, all-Loving and Forgiving, the one and only Protector, of us all. And if he is meant for me i will wait and pray patiently, for I know that Allah has the best in store for me. I will always love him dearly, so much. I just endend a realationship that I knew was a sin and bad for me. I was hurt multiple times in this relationship and stayed again and again. Last week for the first time I was so hurt that I couldn't eat, sleep or think properly, I tried to stay anyways but my heart wouldn't mend. I was and am still soo hurt I feel like my heart is being stabed and my breath taken away over and over again. Then I remembered. I asked Allah to help me out of this relation ship and realized he might have answered my du3a with this pain. Al Hamdulillah. I ended this relationship just now. The pain is still very present but Inshallah it'll go away. I have faith it will and inshallah it will for all of you here who needs it.

1. Cut nails and trim hair/beard
2. Take a ghusl shower/bath
3. Use miswak/siwak (toothbrush)
4. Wear best clothes
5. Apply perfume/oud
6. Read Surat Al Kahf (chapter 18)
7. Walk to mosque early to be in the 1st rows
8. Listen to Friday sermon (Khutbah)
9. Send blessings on the Prophet (Allahumma salli wa sallem wa baarek ‘ala sayidina Muhammad wa ‘ala aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallem)
10. Supplicate (make dua) often especially in the “golden hour” (a time between Asr and Maghrib on Friday).
Please make dua for me and my family and for every suffering Muslim. May Allah SwT reward you.
