Excellent video and explanation! I had incorrectly set the little switch inside to internal and set the panel to external. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting hot water within a few seconds. After watching your video, I checked the little dial switch, realized it was set to internal, changed it to external, and the issue was resolved.

Hi. My 240A2 unit starts warm and then goes cold and eventually only goes warm but never gets hot again like it used to. My research indicates it’s a faulty check valve. Are these available on Amazon and can you link the right part? And is this an easy enough repair to do as a homeowner?

I have a Navien tankless water heater that was exchanged for free by a Navien crew in January 2015 - the previous Navien tankless was leaking internally like crazy and flooded my basement - - ever since it was installed, it has been at 115F setting for hot water ( i live in toronto ) -- - my question is, can i enter Commercial Mode on the heater and increase from 115F to 150F and safely run at 150F 24/7 - 365 ? i don't have small children in the house, they all got married and moved out within the last 6-7 years - - would there be any issues with the 150F setting when the hot water inlet to my LG front loading clothes washer is hooked to a hot water line from the Navien ? supposedly my LG washer can run at a maximum of 70 celsius on a cycle called "Sanitary" - - please advise, ,, thank you in advance
How do you pipe the furthest fixture for the dedicated line? Put a tee in with hot coming in? Thanks
Yes. Install a tee on the Hot water line near the furthest fixture or at the fixture you want hot water delivered faster. From the Tee run a dedicated 1/2" pipe back to the water heater where depending what type water heater you have you will need a circ pump, valve, check valve or two.

Absolutely. That's your air vent on your recirculation line. Designed to expel air that's it your line and supposed to close when water is drawn. You can try to loosen and tighten the cap to see if you can help make the seal. If not the part is easy to get. Amazon Navien circulation pump air vent. It's $17.
Does the Bosch singular has this feature?
We don't do Bosch in this area.
Can this be installed with a pex manifild system?
Yes absolutely. The unit turns on and off based on flow. Once you turn on a faucet in your house and begin drawing water out, the tankless detects that you have open a faucet and need hot water. At that moment the unit fires up and heats the water to 120 degrees as the water passes thru.
Is there a check valve on the dedicated recirc line?
Yes however don't trust it. Install your own dedicated check valve on your recirc.

@ryankathalynas5527 The dedicated 3rd line hot water recirculation is flowing back to the water heater.
