@Akihito_Kanbara I don't think people are bad at the game, I think they are bad with Cait Sith. I don't think a lot of his mechanics are explained very well in the game and you don't get a lot of time with him. Any time you have the opportunity to use him, you have access to characters where you've gained more experience in using.
@@nate6045 don't have a lot of time with him? You have him for like 80% of the game. His mechanics are explained perfectly well in the tutorials. You just have to actually read them.
@@nate6045 not all chapters are equal length. Plus, you're not factoring in all the open world stuff. There's tons of time to play him. And why would you not at least try him? You seriously only play the characters you start the game with? How boring.
Wait when you throw the dice how did you make him throw it directly to the floor? Mine just gets throw in the air and I’m waiting ages for it to land on a number.
With the moogle? It's a magic-affinity attack vs. the physical combo you get when you hold square. It also doesn't move the enemies the enemies around, which helps if you're setting them up for a multiple finisher.
I had no idea you can combo Kaboom and Dodge 'n' Dive. I was literally always waiting for the enemies to just beat the crap outta the moogle so it can explode.
That's fine. He doesn't have to ride Moogle. And there are advantages to both, riding and not. Moogle is a 4th party member and has it's own AI. It even attacks and moves on it's own, EVEN when riding it. You can even use Moogle as a tank because it draws aggro and Caits weapon slots can make it draw even more aggro. Plus Cait is faster on foot so you want to dismount to 1. Dodge 2. Reposition on the battlefield as Moogle will always appear where you are when you remount.
I like to use Moogle Kaboom as soon as I can for whenever Moogle dies. But you can also use Let’s Ride to get him back to max health if you want him out longer. I also use Dodge ‘n Dive like in the video to detonate him. Moogle Knuckle is what you want to use when the enemy is staggered.
agreed. this shit just not really for me lol. way too complicated for 10 skill points and other gatelocked challenges smh. The scorpion takes me out nearly every time
Cait Sith is kinda slept on but he’s a cool character to play around with when you figure out how he works.
This is great! I would love a tips video on how to play him really well. Love your videos
This is incredible
I appreciate that you actually go into the menu to show us peasants how to use Cait sith
🤨 is everyone seriously so bad at this game? The more comments I read across videos the sadder it gets.

@@Akihito_Kanbara you get him like chapter 8 and then he's missing for another chapter. Last I checked, 6/14 was not 80%.

The dice are at the mercy of the physics engine no matter what you do. Sometimes you just get lucky.
Is there a big difference between mashing square to attack vs holding it? I just do the hold square combo and it hits pretty hard.

@@TrixterBambi that's good to know, I had no idea.
The hold combo also doesn't build up the moogle triangle meter - only the moogle automatic attack does
