A player like Steven Gerrard is the best thing that any football fans will dream to have in their club. A local lad who captained his side, scored countless crucial goals and lead his team to victory in CL final after 3-0 down..
I remember it was a special day for me and whole Liverpool whenever he scores.. his body language and authority in the field is incomparable with any other players.. Haters can say he didn't won PL so he is not the best but ultimately its not about winning, its not about the final score.. Its about how you felt during a game.. its about how you experienced a season.. I am sure every Liverpool fans would have experienced ecstasy when Steven Gerrard scored in FA cup final and against Olympiakos to advance through group stage..I really wanted Liverpool to win 2013-14 season for Gerrard to have a remarkable story with happy ending.. But now I feel like some stories are better with sad ending.. Steven Gerrard is the best story to ever happen in PL or perhaps in world football..

This was the greatest game of football I ever saw. I started to support Liverpool in late 2004 and this was my first season as a Liverpool fan. I was deflated when we was 3 nil down at half time and I said to my dad you might as well turn the tv off because I thought we had lost it, thank the heavens though that my dad still had some hope because some Liverpool fans did switch the tv off at half time and till this day they regret it. That comeback was unbelievable and you can tell the AC Milan players were completely shocked that they couldn’t even take their penalties. And that Dudek double save just wow, after that save you could tell it was just written in the stars. 14 years later I saw the second greatest game ever when we beat Barcelona 4 nil at Anfield, and now after 16 years of being a Liverpool fan finally we are Premier League champions. The man made me cheer for a team that was facing off against my team. A team that was down 3-0 at half time. A team that had no business being in a UCL final at that time. A team that had no chance in hell to net a goal, let alone make a historic comeback against one of the strongest teams in European football history. I had goosebumps watching this live. I still do, whenever I watch any replay of this match.
It made me feel anything was possible, and gave me a very positive outlook on life.
