Here is a Resin Art video of me creating some stunning pieces using Abalone shell in a very different way, this has created some Opal Like effects in such a simple way! You are going to be hooked at making these!

Beautiful. I’ve several abalone shells I need to bust up. One has the most amazing blue I’ve ever seen so definitely want to use it. Thanks for showing us this technique.

@@daniel..cooper I plan on sorting the pieces by thickness and color actually. Have quite a few of these shells. Ex boss used to dive for abalone and I took the shells. Tasty stuff actually if cooked correctly. 🥰
Beautiful work, you could actually fasten several of the little cabochons together with uv resin to make spectacular shapes and designs for a necklace. hope you feel better soon. Take care ❤

I absolutely loved the butterfly experiments on #176. And my favorite was the round grey that was the last un-molded. I would pay money for it. 😊
Easier way with much better results is to use the glass cabochons and uv resin just to adhere the shell. They sell really well at craft shows.

I always watch all the way through, Daniel, each and every video. If I want to rewatch a section, I wait til the end, then go back through.
*HINT:* If anyone needs to rewatch something, you can turn on captions, then set speed to 2X and hear Daniel sound like a chipmunk! 😅 When you reach the section you need, pause the video, go back to normal speed, or even slow it down.
