    I'm a native of NYC and visited last month, just to explore. There was a heat wave so I stayed indoors more than I expected but I enjoyed denver metro area. I stayed in hyatt house in aurora, surrounding the hotel was a bit hood but I had a rental and explored other parts of Aurora and metro denver. Only con of denver is that you guys like to speed and tailgate. The only thing preventing me from moving is my job. My job was temporarily remote but I recently returned back to the office. I'm aggressively looking for a remote job or jobs in denver area. Hopefully I will meet you guys when the job situation improves.

    The quick answer is why haven’t you moved yet because I love it here. I got out of the Marines and move back home to NJ. Realize it wasn’t for me anymore. 6 months in I moved to Denver with the help of these studs above. Currently in the rent to own process. Taking it slowly will be looking forward to them in the next year or so. Also Vet Benefits are a ton better. Im a mets fan and we are winning out division so stop that losing talk. We are going to go deep in the playoffs 😂.

I have a couple friends who have moved there and they love it! I would love any information with the comparison of California to Denver! Thank you!

    What about a Houston or overall Texas to Denver (keeping in mind how “cheap” Texas is)

    Cool video...Denver sounds like a a great place to live. I love my home, NY, but I'm ready for something new. Fugettaboutit..lol. I was curious if there were any greyhound or shuttle services out to the mountains, that someone without a vehicle could take advantage of. I'd hate the fact that not having a car would keep me from moving to Denver.

    • @THE_GINGERJACK
      @THE_GINGERJACK Před 3 lety +3

      There’re shuttles to mountain towns yes, epic mountain express is one to use, I am a transplant from Dallas myself.

    • @robertdouglas5032
      @robertdouglas5032 Před 3 lety +2

      We have mountain shuttles. Check out their rates. Most locals drive to the mountains because the shuttles can be pricey if used frequently. The city of Denver is what you make of it. We are not NYC by any means. Our businesses close early although the downtown area is improving its offerings.

      Thank you both for the info. I'm not from NYC, I'm on long island... very different. We have more space and you do need a car for the most part. I myself have certain complications when it comes to having my own car. I get around now, but I live right across from a train station. That's a big help, the busses and Ubers are good as well. I mix them up so I can make it cheaper for myself, and I still don't pay nearly the amount I would for a car payment, insurance, gas, and maintenance per month. I personally wouldn't want to own a car again if I don't have to. The whole idea of me moving is to have a new start anyway, so I wouldn't want it to be much like NY at all. I want a whole new experience. I know I need to live close to a city now though. I would rather live closer to nature and the mountains, but I'm being realistic because of the car thing. I will be moving closer to nature eventually. That's my plan. I just have to live closer to things right now, til I figure things out. I feel good about my choice to move to Denver, or around it. If there are shuttles or bus services to the mountains, on my days off, I would absolutely take advantage of them. Thank you both so much, for answering my question!👍😊

      @@joeybrenes8002 Denver is a city and not in the mountains. You should visit before committing to a move. Many visitors are surprised that the city of Denver is not very close to the mountains.There are other cities along the front range which are closer or actually in the mountains. Evergreen, CO is popular because you live in a mountain town within traveling distance of Denver. It is really about what you want. Larger city/burbs traffic and shopping or smaller town vibe with access to a metro. Hope you have the opportunity to visit and explore outside the city of Denver.

    • @joeybrenes8002
      @joeybrenes8002 Před 3 lety

      @Robert Douglas Right, I plan on visiting, trying to do some searching from home in the mean time. I know that the city is far from the mountains, but it has everything I need...I can't have everything I want right now, but I'll be a lot closer. The city wouldn't bother me, especially since it doesn't seem as nuts, and overpopulated, as NYC, which I like also but I wouldn't live there. I've been to smaller less populated cities before and actually enjoyed that whole vibe. That Evergreen place sounds pretty nice, I'd most likely be into that, but I would like easier access to things. Im from the burbs, so I wouldn't mind that. I'm sure it'll all coincide with that brand new feeling Ive been craving for, either way. Baby steps, ya know...I'll get to where I want to be eventually. Just know that if I wait for the time to be just right, I'll never move. Gotta do it while I can do it, and right now, I can do it. 😁

    Hello , I'm moving to Denver or Boulder or somewhere in between within a few months. I work remotely. Are there any areas to avoid that's notorious for bad connections or signals? I need to make sure I have good WIFI for my job, Also, I'm going to need to find a place that's pet friendly and in a safe and nice area to rent on a monthly basis that partially furnished for about 6 months until I figure out where I want to buy. It's just me so a 1 bed 1 bath is fine. I'm looking to pay about $1,500 a month. Thank you in advance and love your videos. I will definitely use you guys when I am ready to buy. I can't think of anyone more knowledgeable about Denver area.

      Thanks so much for watching Toby. In regards to the signal, it's mostly carrier dependent. Verizon tends to be one of the best out here when it comes to coverage. Wifi is pretty good anywhere unless you go to the mountains or very rural areas.

    Long time resident of Denver, here. If you are relocating from Manhattan or one of the five boroughs, you will need to obtain a driver's license and vehicle to experience what makes Colorado special, the mountains. Downtown Denver is cool, but it is not a NYC with the unique neighborhoods. We have neighborhoods in the city, but people drive to them for the most part.
