Local sports broadcasters here in Houston have been high on Lassiter. He’s been shining at the corner position. Metchie has been tearing it up too.

Anyone who isn't high on metchie frankly doesn't know ball. What he was doing before the acl tear and cancer. Now he's fully back to himself. it's only up.

I became a Texans fan ~11 years ago when Ray Lewis retired (chill out on me I was like 12 lmao) but this team feels like a whole different level of good. Yeah we had that run in 2013 with JJ and Dre but that felt like a divisional round team, this one feels like a dynasty.

Bro is definitely not a diva. Maybe his former teams was toxic. Bro is constantly helping out the young guys, helping their technique and development

Bro Metchie is finally healthy! He hasn't been since he joined the league. He is a dawg, and he will show up big time this year along with every other WR we have. God bless and go Texans!!!

Metchie has been tearing it up in Training Camp so far after fully recovering from cancer last season. If we don't re-sign Diggs after this season, I can easily see him being the new WR3 for us. I'm really glad they moved Pitre back into that nickelback role he had back when he was at Baylor (where he won the Big 12 DPOY) and his rookie year, so far he looks like he's already returning to his old self. He was just NOT good at FS and even got benched at times, which is why we addressed that issue in Calen Bullock, whose been just as much of a dawg as Lassiter, Fisher, and Stover have been so far.
Lassiter was never meant to be brought in as a slot corner, Demeco and Nick decided to watch game film instead of focusing on his 40-time and saw for themselves just how good he was (gave up 0 touchdowns in 2 of his 3 years and allowed less than 150 yards his last year at Georgia. And only allowed 2 TDs his whole college career, all in his sophomore season). And so far in Training Camp, Lassiter is looking like he has the CB2 position locked up. He's been lights out living up to calling himself a lockdown corner. Paired with up Stingley, who's a ballhawk, they look to be a really good CB duo. He reminds me of Stroud in that he seems to be one of the most pro-ready corners coming out of the draft.
I really can't wait for the narrative of Diggs being a "diva" to shut up already. Dude has so far has taken more a mentor type role for the team, especially for Tank and Metchie, and even for Stingley and Lassiter, and has been an overall positive influence in the locker room. And even if he does pan out to be one later on, we only have him on a 1 year deal anyway, so we can let him walk in the offseason. Our WR room is very stacked.

I don’t know how but I’m more excited for Metchie than Diggs. I know that’s crazy but I care more abt him and his journey than Diggs.

John metchie has overcome cancer! Not injury! Metchie was back last year but it was his first year and was still recovering from the toll on the body that cancer creates. wtf Lassiter is a possible shutdown corner. Didn’t train for the 40 so his speed didn’t look good. King is a nickel always has been. Lassiter was competing with Okudah. Slovak? Dude you got to be trolling at this point. You got everything wrong in this video.

Pitre just had a sophomore slump, but he will get back to being the playmaker he was in his first year, and now we have so many potential playmakers in a secondary where he is gonna feast!

About half of your talking points are incorrect.........Metchie had cancer and this is his 1st real season, Diggs has never been a "DIVA"......not one former teammate has bad mouthed him. Nothing but praise. And local media keeps stating how good of a teammate he is and how hard he works.
Bills were in cap trouble and couldn't afford Diggs.....ive never heard Lassiter and King competing and he allowed like 200 yrs TOTAL his last yr in Georgia...... King is looking the the returner for the new kickoff rules. Pitre was a liability last yr and was actually benched.....

Xavier Hutchinson is probably gonna win #4 or #5 WR behind Noah Brown, he is long and fast, and seems to have shown more upside than Metchie.
