When all of the baloney of the modern world is too much, it is a great escape to come listen and watch Lester and Earl and the boys. Simpler times but certainly no better music than this. Thanks so much for sharing!
Indeed.
I'm 64, from Nashville & the Martha White theme song was one of the 1st songs I can remember..I remember Porter Wagner show w/ Dolly Pardon ( as his side kick..LOL ) & Ralph Emery show...I turned out to be a jam band/ jazz/ blues/ fusion ( Allman bro/ Dead head) fan & musician but thank God for Billy Strings & these young bluegrass pickers keeping it real & alive & well🍄
Classic from start to end including Martha White commercials. Goodness gracious it's good.
The planets lined up perfectly with these guys!
Great to see these old TV shows available again. What wonderful playing.
The best of Blues Grass . All time
They seemed like they had fun playing on this show

I love the Martha White commercials @@jackbehling5694
I LOVE watching these shows! I learn from Earl's picking on every one of his breaks. I love that, Lester tells Earl to play in with "Farewell Blues." Actually, Earl kicks off with "Fireball Mail!" Atfer watching the whole solo, Lester and Earl get into the mistake! LOVE that banter!
Thank you so much for restoring this old footage. Much appreciated! Blessings upon all those involved in the process!
I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying watching these. The Pat Milk and Martha White commercials just add so much to the proceedings, and the music is absolutely wonderful. Top quality uploads.
This is why I love bluegrass. Thank you putting this together.
Really great to watch....fantastic shows...
Thanks for these! Lots of fun.
Lester: "Earl, let's have the Farewell Blues (C tuning). Earl (in G tuning): plays Fireball Mail.
😂
Fireball Blues 😎
❤ Love them & love this!
Thanks a lot for uploading these!
Late 50’s or early 60’s kckn d j would play liberty dance & at the end he would say match in the gas tank bo boom. Because of the licks she played at the end
Lester Flatt was a great singer I don't know if that's ever been pointed out
Smokin
Hallehøj❤❤❤❤
That's some great music. Keep up the good work.
I need some hot-rise! Too bad they don't make it anymore. I also need some Blue Anthrocite Coal.....(The Shadow Knows)
I bet Mother Maybelle got really tired of playing Wildwood Flower.
I always enjoy T Tommy when he says "Goooodness gracious, it's good!"
Why does there have to be a stinking obnoxious commercial to interrupt that part EVERY time?😡
(Well, almost every time.)
I would like some help. What is the song they play at 17:05 of the video? I would appreciate if one of you could help
