This is a very unique and graceful design; thank you for sharing. I’m currently working this pattern in a gauge 3 baby pink yarn, as a gift for my grandmother. God bless you and yours🫶

This is a gorgeous pattern. Anything with picots always add an extra elegance.
In the crochet books that I use when you wrap the yarn around the hook three times it is called a “double treble”. I know different countries sometimes give them different names. The English call wrapping the yarn around the hook once a treble where US calls it a double crochet. Whatever the stitch is called, it is beautiful. Thank you so much for bringing this tutorial to us.

Beautiful shawl and excellent tutorial. Thank you. Picot stitches are usually done slip stitching into the 1st stitch but I like the way these picots are turning out.

I would like to try to crochet a black triangular Mantilla to wear to Mass. Would this particular pattern work for that?
Thank you and have a blessed day 😊

Instead of saying "right here" u could b more specific i.e first loop of the chain or whatever it is..
Especially when u use such a tiny size of chrochet hook

hi Tara, I really don’t know the thread size i was using. I bought it at a farmer market and they called it Mexican Yarn with no label. They’re thin like floss.

@@MonicaMawinu i did not finish the whole shawl. This tutorial is a sample on how to start one only. The thread i was using was super thin. If you use yarn. I say 2 skeins will be good.

Your pattern is quite lovely. However, I can’t tell which stitch you mean by saying “right here” That means nothing to me. I would suggest that you indicate the exact stitch you are referring to. Also, for the future I would suggest that you select a lighter colored yarn. Your yarn choice makes it difficult to distinguish what is going on. One final point is that in the United States the stitch that you are calling a “tear drop” is actually called a pivot. Thank you for the pretty shawl pattern.

Thank U for your feedback. I made this tutorial while back when i didnt know the proper terms and not have much experience in explaining. I am planning to redo this in a different video with pattern in subtitle. This goes with all my future tutorial videos. ❤️ from California.

Your work is beautiful. Instructions not very clear. It would be helpful if instead of you saying go into here... tell us where we are putting our next stich. Your yarn is small and dark, your fingers cover most of it. I made it kinda to row 3 pausing and rewinding a lot. I would lve to learn this and your voice is very soothing. Thanks for the video. I just can't follow you.
